Underarms

Question Posted Saturday August 13 2005, 7:20 pm

So I shave my underarms every day...but lately I've been getting ingrown hairs and that's never happened before. It's kinda gross...it looks like I have pimply armpits or something (I wash my arm pits every day). I think it might have been because I changed my deoderant recently...but I don't think that makes sense because I don't put on deoderant until after I shave. So does anyone know why this happened and what I can do to fix it? Because it's the hottest month of the year and I would like to be able to wear tank tops again.

It might be a rash from the new deodorant. Go back to your old one and see if it the bumps clear up.

It could be from you using the other kind of deoderant......Or also if you dont use shaving cream it tends to get irretated...... you should try to go to a diff. deoderant and if you have not been using shaving cream you should start....

hope I helped <3 Tiffany

First try a good razor such as gilette for women which will give you a close shave. Make sure to use shaving cream too, because if you don't your skin may become dehydrated and just "bleh" And make sure to replace your razor about ebery two months so you can get a close shave. Also Switch to Dove Deoderant, it is very good.

azngemini answered Saturday August 13 2005, 8:52 pm:
yeah.. it's definately because of your deodorant. i used to use a deodorate from secret, and it gave my armpits a HUGE rash. then when i changed it to dove, the rash disappeared. what you should do is buy a new deodorant, maybe one from the same brand as your previous deodorants because those didnt give you "pimply armpits." and your armpits will go back to normal in a few days, a week at the most.

hope i helped :)

Maybe you have an allergic reaction to the deoderant you switched too and its causing skin irritation, resulting in a rash.

sometimes it can have something to do with the razer you use... so i sugjest you get a new on because the razer can fade and if it's not really sharp enough it can make that happen uner your arms even your legs too... hope i helped at all and try to see if a new kind of deoderant... or you no what works really well too not make you sweat to much is the deoderant in the spray bottle it works pretty cool!

hope i could help
