Informant_Girl answered Saturday August 13 2005, 12:43 pm: When I got really bad sunburn, my mother rubbed the peeling skin off with calamine lotion and a soft towel. Aside from that, I've seen some fancy exfoliating creams that contain sugar in them, but instead of wasting money, why not fill a bowl with sugar and add warm water until it turns into a sort of dense syrup mixture (it should still be grainy; if the sugar is all dissolved, add more) and gently rub this on your face. You shouldn't have any allergic reactions to this and it shouldn't hurt either; if it does, just add more water. But to be on the safe side, always test a bit on the fleshy part of your underarm first and wait for up to an hour to see if anything happens. Good luck. You'll definitely see results with what I told you.Use my advice you won't regret it! [ sunnyville's advice column | Ask sunnyville A Question ]

My grandmother is a doctor so she knows alot about EVERYTHING lol so when i got sunburn on my face last week she made me wash my face with a face Scrub. Since we didn't have any at home she made a homemade one. If you don't have a scrub at home then you should try making one. This is what you need.
1 med. lemon - juice of
2 Tbls. finely ground almonds
1 Tbls. honey
and this is what you do.
-Combine all ingredients.
-Massage mixture into face and neck.
-Leave on for 5 minutes.
-Rinse off with warm water.
