Private Calls
How do you figure out someone's real number when they use the *67 (the ID block)? Yesterday, my friend pranked her friend's house on private, and her friend's mother called back angry and threatening to tell her parents. I'm just wondering because I get a lot of private calls and would like to know who keeps calling and hanging up. Thanks :)

*69 works sometimes, but not all the time, and you can also call the phone company and it'll tell them exactly who's been calling, but that's only if someone like threatened you on the phone or something. other than that, there's really no way you can check who's calling you if they use private caller.

I dont think theres any way to figure that out, maybe it was just a lucky guess because I get private calls too, and even if you *69 it, it doesnt trace it. I have a private number by requiest though, and noones been able to figure it out when I prank people, h aha. Sorry doll.

Have your parents call the phone company and have an anonymous number block on the phone. When someone calls with a blocked number, they receive a message that they have to unblock their number to get through. Some phone companies offer this service for free and some charge up to $7 a month. Another option is to notify your phone company and your local law enforcement that you're getting harassing phone calls. They can set up a trace on your phone line which will let them know exactly what number is calling.

get a private number so they have to dial *82 and they'll have to unblock they're call.. and also try *69 when you have a call like that.. but other then that you cant really find out unless it was like a threatenin then you should call the police.. ♥ Dez

omg, this is such a big coincidence. everyday someone calls my house and hangs up whenever i pick up the phone, it happened this morning also. and i always wanted to kno their number so i can call back and do the same thing to them everyday. what you do is after they call you, and after you hang up, dial *69. then like a machine operated woman, i think thats what they're called, will tell you what the person's number is. the bad thing is that i think they charge you a quarter or even more everytime you do this.
oh, i dont know if this works if the person blocked their id, but you can give it a try
