I know people will get their makeup professionally done for prom or whatever. But, I wanted to get mine done before I take my senior portraits, what is the cheapest it would cost? Who/where would I call the schedule an appointment?
NinjaNeer answered Thursday April 15 2010, 10:07 am: I got mine done at a department store makeup counter. You just had to buy one item, so I bought the lip gloss they used... it was great, because I had it for touch-ups the whole night! It was expensive lip gloss, about $20, but if I had gotten it done at a salon it would have cost about the same and I wouldn't have come away with anything.

Give them a ballpark figure on how much your willing to spend and see if you can work something out. [ VainTaraLynn's advice column | Ask VainTaraLynn A Question ]

Just call around the department store that have makeup counters. The ones around here are Elder Bearman, Bergners, and Famous Barr. if your area doesnt have that opportunity, then a lot of salons that do hair and nails, do makeup also. Shy-girl answered Thursday August 11 2005, 7:00 pm: you could shop around for different prices but if you are brave you could find out if there are any bueaty collages/ courses near you because they often are looking for guinea pigs for the students to practice on.
