Fraudulent Ebay User Some girl purchased sunglasses from me on ebay and she said once she received it in the mail, it had scratches all over it and it looked like it had been sat on after being used. I explained to her that they were in perfect condition when I shipped them, they have never been worn, and had absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now, shes accusing me of lying and demands a refund. I figured it either got damaged while it was in the mail or she just doesn't like it and wants her money back, but she refuses to accept it. In my description, I said all sales are final and I am not responsible for any lost or damaged items. And now she's reporting me to Ebay because she can't get a refund. (Which she knew she wouldnt be able to get when she bidded on my item.) I feel bad that her sunglasses got damaged, but I had them safely wrapped and shipped in perfect condition, so it's not my fault. Plus, she's being rude and ridiculous, so I refuse to even do anything nice for her, like bend my rules. So is there way I could get in trouble for something like that?

Don't wait for Ebay to contact you. Instead, report her and contact them first. It's not like you have anything to hide. Tell an administrator your situation and about how in your post you stated that all sales are final, they should be able to look that up.
Also, don't bicker back and forth with the girl: because you really don't owe her anything anyway, and there's no way for her to just zap her money back from your account.
Deal directly with Ebay. ]
If you stated that all sales are final, I doubt there's much she could do, but it really depends on ebay's rules and regulations. If ebay contacts you about it, just be calm and mature, explain to them the situation, exactly how you shipped the item (including how you wrapped it and boxed it to explain that you took precautions against the item being damaged), and point out that you stated that all sales are final. ]
I don't think you will get in any trouble!! That girl is just being a b***h about it!! You didn't do anything wrong so don't worry about it! ]
You shouldn't get in trouble for it because if you clearly stated in your description like you say you did, that you don't claim responsibility for lost or damaged items, she should have known better than to ask you for a refund. I don't sell or buy stuff on Ebay, but what you said sounds fair. You never know what you're getting when you buy something online and you also never know what might happen when the product is being shipped. You did nothing wrong, and she's just mad that she can't get her money back because she's unsatisfied. She knew what she was getting into when she placed a bid on your item. ]
mm thats kinda complicated, because now your getting into the rules and stuff. i dont think you can get into trouble because she cant prove that you damaged them. and even if they were damaged its not your fault. she could report you but i dont know what good that would do to her. i think she might be going over board...
hope that helps!

You might be better off asking something like this in the eBay Answer Center. They have been helpful to me in the past.
