Some girl purchased sunglasses from me on ebay and she said once she received it in the mail, it had scratches all over it and it looked like it had been sat on after being used. I explained to her that they were in perfect condition when I shipped them, they have never been worn, and had absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now, shes accusing me of lying and demands a refund. I figured it either got damaged while it was in the mail or she just doesn't like it and wants her money back, but she refuses to accept it. In my description, I said all sales are final and I am not responsible for any lost or damaged items. And now she's reporting me to Ebay because she can't get a refund. (Which she knew she wouldnt be able to get when she bidded on my item.) I feel bad that her sunglasses got damaged, but I had them safely wrapped and shipped in perfect condition, so it's not my fault. Plus, she's being rude and ridiculous, so I refuse to even do anything nice for her, like bend my rules. So is there way I could get in trouble for something like that?
Also, don't bicker back and forth with the girl: because you really don't owe her anything anyway, and there's no way for her to just zap her money back from your account.

If ebay contacts you about it, just be calm and mature, explain to them the situation, exactly how you shipped the item (including how you wrapped it and boxed it to explain that you took precautions against the item being damaged), and point out that you stated that all sales are final. I don't sell or buy stuff on Ebay, but what you said sounds fair. You never know what you're getting when you buy something online and you also never know what might happen when the product is being shipped. You did nothing wrong, and she's just mad that she can't get her money back because she's unsatisfied. She knew what she was getting into when she placed a bid on your item.
