well i dont no the law but what i would like to say to you is stop having sex. hes not so much older then you but just imagine what if you did get pregnant. ]
yep it could happen...sorry about that hon, but you should of had thought of the consinques before you had sex. sorry to be rude but its kinda your fault. ]
well...to solve all your problems USE PROTECTION. ]
You have to be 18 basiclly in all of the states. He cant go to jail becauses hes only 16 && thers nothing wrong with that. Your dad is just trying to scare you so you dont end up doing anything stupid. ]
hey ya you hafta b 18 but your dad can still go and get some restraining order or something put against him. just make sure you guys use protection ;-) ]
ok well i dk this might make you feel better letting you kno that thats what i heard that you have to be a least 18. ]
some states are diffrent. example: here in CAlifornia. its 18.
in oklahoma.. its 16.
and here in california if example a girl is 16 and is fooling around with an 18 yr. old then your parents better know other wise if they FIND OUT then its concidered statutory rape. if you have there concent thats its ok to date him and what not then they cant bring those charges againist him.
but in oklahoma its 16 so your dad could do that. from my understanding..

Notes on Use
This instruction is appropriate for rape and other sex crimes when the victim is a child below a particular age. This age is fourteen for prosecutions for rape in the first degree and sixteen for prosecutions for rape in the second degree and other sex crimes.
