its not illegal but you shouldnt do it because you could get killed/ hurt because you dont know who the person is that is picking you up.. so dont do it...

hitchhiking isn't illegal, but it's not very good because you're dependent upon the kindness of strangers and you never know who you're hitchhiking with! unless it's around the galaxy lol
