i dont know if i should dye my hair darker or lighter. I want a big change but i dont know what to do. I just dont want it to look bad. If i go a shade lighter with blonde highlights my hair will probably be dirty blonde or blonde. If i go darker, i'd go to my natural color which is dark brown. Does anyone have any advice on what i should do??

keep your hair the way it is and use dark makeup the first thing a guy looks at is the face the hair and the dark makeup would look perfect togethere

Well I personally think lighter would be better because if you went darker then as you've mentioned, your hair would be back to it's natural color which would make it seem like a waste of money to me, you might aswell just let your previous hair color grow out, if you have dyed your hair before and it's still in your hair, but the descision is really up to you. If you like your natural hair color then go for that, but if you do want a BIG change then go 4 something light, definately.

In the summer i always diem y hair lighther because it looks better if you are tan an it makes it look like your kinda with the season. LIght as hot, dark as in cold. try that. Then to spring it up a little bit..try a different color highlights maybe like a red or a black with blonde hair...Its hot.

you should go for the lighter
because if you dont like how the lighter looks you can get it darker and it wont look bad
but if you get it darker and dont like it
its still going to be dark if you make it lighter

I think because your hair is already dark because its brown that you should go lighter.

You should generally stay within a couple shades of your natural color for best results. Have you considered putting red highlights in your hair?

well think about the color of your eyebrows like if they are really dark you would prob want to go darker but if they are blonder than you can go lighter. also if you dont want to have to dye your hair every 6-8 weeks then i would recomend darker cause the roots will be less noticable
