Question Posted Wednesday July 27 2005, 12:47 am

Well yesterday was my brothers birthday but he died about half a year ago.I'm really sad cause he would of been 22 years old. I noticed that my dad is sad about it and I'm also feeling the same but a bit confused I'm not sure wut to think or feel. I want to do something special to give him the message he's still alive in my heart though I'm not sure what to do.I can't goto where he was buried cause he was buried in Florida and I live in Texas. it's a long story but yea... any idea's would be highly appreciated thanks in advance.
-my prayers goto all who need them-

Could you visit a spot you both liked, or he liked and leave something there? Like a beach, or park or something?

I'm sorry for your loss.

It's great you want to respect your brother by that. But the dead can't receive messages. All you can do about now is just remember him in your prayers. Just never forget about him and that will be more than enough.

Disciple (plz rate me if i deserve it)

Same situation happened 2 months ago except it was my sister and it would have been her Sweet Sixteen. What my family does, and dont laugh, We buy 3 balloons (because thats how many people are in our family) and we write messages on them and let them go. And I write letters to my sister a lot and I just keep them in a box. I vent in the letters. I truely hope i helped

This may not be the best advice but when I lost someone I loved very deerly I was morning and havin a very hard time. My teacher told me to write a letter saying everything i wanted and then take it outside and burn it. The ashes and smoke will fly up to heaven and cary everything you wrote and feel. I did that and I felt alot better. Even though you will still cry and still miss them dearly doing this helped me a bit.
-hope i helped
love maddie

I thought of this once, but never really did it for my dad. You type or write a letter, then you tie it to a baloon. I always thought that it was a really good idea.
About the feelins, talk to somebody about it. It will help a lot. If you don't talk to someone or let out your feelins, it will burst out, and that isn't good. If you let it burst out after holdin it in, you might get sick, or yell at everyone for no apperant reason. So make sure you do somethin to let your feelins out. I like to find a song where they yell really loud and turn it up really loud. Then I scream with them and it gets my anger and sadness out.
I hope I helped, and remember, my inbox is always open. You can rate if you want, but it would be nice if you did. Thanks!

P.S.
By the way, my prayers are with you to. Godbless you!:)
