gaining 2 pounds hey! i didnt eat for 4 days because i was super busy and the only kind of food i could eat i didnt like! but i gained 2 pounds! how is that possible if i didnt eat?!

Well i looked it up. And when you don't eat your metabolism rises 3 percent each time you don't eat. And that just makes you burn less calories. Cuz if you don't eat also. Then you aren't even also starting up your metabolism. So you can't loose weight. Well i hope i helped! Rate ME!!!!

Since you weren't eating, your body went into self-preservating mode and started storing fat to protect itself. ]
Yup, your body thought it was starving, that's why diets frequently end up making people fatter in the long run.
Our bodies were created with "lean times" in mind. So when the body doesn't get enough food, it thinks; Oh No! Famine! And slows down your metabolism so that it doesn't burn your fat reserves as quicky, and stores every scrap it can as more fat. When you start eating normally again, it might stop storing, but lots of times you now have that extra fat, "just in case".
Some people do this over and over and get bigger and bigger. It's called Yo-Yo dieting.
So take time to eat! Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner if you can, but many small meals through the day are better than fewer large meals. ]
because if you dont eat for a while then hen you do your body stores you as much of the food as it can as fats, just incase it doesn't get fed again for a while. its kind of a defense mechanism so you dont starve. so when you ate your body turned most of it into fats whereas normaly it would have just use the food for energy, stored a bit of it and then got rid of the rest as waste. thats why when your dieting its best to eat regulary! ]
your body starts using up your own fat which turns into sugar which is worse than fat itself and your metabolism slows down when you start to eat so you gain weight ]
you don*t eat, you don*t poop (i no sounds lovely) It slowed your matabalism down so you didn*t get rid of any of the food you ate before you stopped eating. I don*t suggest you do that again. xoxo, chelsea ]

because your body thought you were starving yourself so it had to double some of your uh "fat" so it can survive..trust me i learned that in health last year. and also sometimes i dont eat for 2-3 days so yea..uhm..yea lol thats why..

well its very simple. not eating doesnt make you lose weight. your body stores a material called glycogen in your muscles, there is enough for it to feed your body for a day. then beyond that youll start digesting fat, but the fat might be storing enough energy to make you gain weight. healthy eating is the correct way to lose weight ]
When you don't eat your body thinks it is starving and starts storing fat to burn. :) ]
