KeLlyNiCoLe answered Saturday July 23 2005, 4:42 am: check your genetics.. does your mom have big boobs.. or your sisters if any ? .. sometimes breast size runs in the family..sometimes periods dont necisarly always make your boobs grow .. but just an suggestion - if you are sexually active.. not only will this keep you safe.. but a side effect of birth control makes your boobs bigger! - check local listings for *planned parenthood* <33 [ KeLlyNiCoLe's advice column | Ask KeLlyNiCoLe A Question ]
karenR answered Saturday July 23 2005, 12:47 am: Boobs just kind of grow when they feel like it. Having your period doesn't even necessarily make them grow any. I'm not sure when they stop growing & you didn't say how old you are. I'd say by the time you are 15-16 they are pretty much done. Until you start having babies and then they may get a little bigger. ncblondie answered Friday July 22 2005, 9:29 pm: Some women just naturally have smaller boobs. I know the general conception is that guys like big boobs, but I've actually found that some prefer the smaller ones. I've been in the situation before of being told mine were too big. You can imagine my surprise.
You didn't give your age but I'm assuming you're in your early teens. I wouldn't worry too much about your boobs. Your body is still developing and your breasts just may be a little behind.
There are some supplements on the market that are supposed to make your boobs grow but I've found they're often expensive and don't work quite as well, if any, as advertised. I have a friend who spent $300 on some pills to make her A cups bigger only to have them stay the same size.
For now, until you know whether or not you're going to hit a growth spurt, I would try a push-up bra or a lightly padded bra. They will help lift and shape your chest. Exercises that tone the chest muscle may also help the area look a little bigger. This site has a few chest exercises that you might try. xcry4noguyx answered Friday July 22 2005, 5:39 pm: Well..there's a big possibility that it's just the size of your boobs. Not everyone's grow big. Usually they start growing before you get your period..but if you want them to get bigger, either get surgery or gain weight. Hope I helped [ xcry4noguyx's advice column | Ask xcry4noguyx A Question ]
Karen answered Friday July 22 2005, 4:32 pm: No one knows for sure, since every female is different and starts puberty at a different age than others. They say you're supposed to start growing after a few years you've gotten your period but that's not true. You can start soon but then again, I really don't know.
