ok, i have a few questions...
Hey all, i have a few quesions... So, me and my boyfriend want to have sex. Hes 15, and i am 14, and please, dont say we are too young. I am a gymnast and have gymnastics every wednesday. We are going to use a condom and even doing gymnastics, could I still get pregnant? I do every event plus conditioning. Is it possible? I am getting the condom. I dont want a box, just one or two. Where can i buy them and do you have to be a certain age? Where could I hide them so my mom would not fine them? Any help is GREATLY appreciated...

Just because you are a gymnast does NOT make you ANY LESS of a female, Hun, so YESSSSSSSSSSS you can STILL become pregnant!!!!!!!! And comdoms can be picked up at Planned Parenthood without cost. Also, there is no certain age you must be to purchase condoms; why would they try to deny anyone 'safe sex'? And as far as hiding them, just put them inside a cd case. :D

yes, you can get pregent. there is no sure way of not getting pregent..your best procaution is to use a condom your on the right track..if you have a local health department they should give them away for free..if not go to your local pharmacy..where i live you can buy condoms at a well decent age of over 13 i think you should also be able to by them at a public restroom which ever you prefer...theres also no sure way of your mom not finding them....keep them in a place your mom would never look but if worst comes to worst and you do get pregent you are gonna have to tell your mom one way or another...unless you do what many teens do... if you need anymore help you can ask me another question.

YES YOU CAN STILL GET PREGNANT! condoms break! and being a gymnist has NOTHING to do with whether or not you get pregnant! if you have sex now, then what will make is special when you get married? having sex now will only make your marital relationship suffer. eventually you will hate sex because you had it so many times before you were married. i know it's hard, but just wait! and if you are young enough to think that you won't get pregnant just because you're a gymnast, then you're too young for something like sex. and just so you know...sex changes the relationship. and it makes it that much harder to break up.
and anyone who gives you advice on how to have sex without your mom knowing or how to do it correctly is only making matters worse and telling younger people that it's ok! people are loosing their virginity at a younger and younger age...soon 5 year olds will the ones asking how to hide it from their parents! and even if you don't get pregnant, you are still at a VERY high risk to get an STD!

www.teenwire.com has a video showing how to put on a condom. Look at that, it's very helpful. You can get them at a gas station or planned parenthood, but it would be nice if your boyfriend went out and bought the condoms, but if not, hey thats cool too. I hide my personal things in a diary that has a lock on it, haha so yeah condoms would fit in there. You can still get pregnant no matter what you do, but they say highly active women have a different cycle but don't count on it. take ncblondie's advice... she's very helpful!

It depends if you use a brand condom or a regular condom make sure that the condom stays on and make sure that it doesn't rip you know it would be nice if both of you wore condoms so then it would be totally safe they have condoms for women you know and even while you both wearing condoms you still will get pregnant. Listen even if you have sex with him while having a condom you will get pregnant so my advice don't have sex till your old enough to take care of the baby because then just in case if you do have the baby then you'll have enough money to take care of the baby so please your making mistake I know you said don't say this but your too young. But hey go ahead and not take my advice you'll be having 1 or 2 babies runnin around the house.

If you don't know much about sex and protection and you have to HIDE condoms from your mom, you are not ready. GUARANTEED. But you know, it's your life. No, I'm not trying to tell you what to do. First all, congrats on showing such maturity in your decision to protect yourself.
You can purchase condoms anywhere (WalMart, the grocery store, convenience stores, etc) without having to be a certain age as far as I know. That's not to say you won't get some strange looks at your age. I would suggest not getting any out of a machine in a bathroom since you have no way of knowing how long they've been in the machine.
Your best bet for just getting a couple rather than a whole box would be to go to a convenience store. They usually have boxes with only 1 or 2 condoms. Since you're trying to avoid pregnancy, I would suggest checking the label for a spermicide (usually nonoxynol-9). Make sure to check the expiration date on the package and don't use the condom if the wrapper appears to be torn or really wore down since that can decrease the effectiveness.
As for where to keep the condoms, just try to find a place your mom isn't likely to go. Try to avoid hot or very damp spots (like in your bathroom or near a heater) since that can damage the condom.
The chances of you getting pregnant with condoms is small, as long as you make sure to use them correctly every time. Making sure to wear them through the entire sexual activity, not just when he's inside you, can also help. Guys leak a little pre-ejaculate (pre-cum) when they get excited even before they cum, and this little bit can get you pregnant.
If you are going to be having sex, I would suggest you do talk to your mom, or at least make an appointment with your local health department or planned parenthood office. They are completely confidential and cost little if anything. Sexual activity at a young age (usually anything under 18 from what research shows) can put you at a higher risk for some diseases. While you're there for your check-up, I would also suggest talking to the doctor or nurse about other methods of birth control such as the patch or birth control pills, since these when used correctly in addition to condoms, can make your chance of pregnancy extremely small.

Gymnastics dont effect your ability to become pregnant! Thats like saying breathing prevents cancer.
You are too young, and I sincerely hope you get pregnant, can't do gymnastics anymore, and have to keep the child just to realize the severity of your ignorant actions.
You really need to learn a lot more about sex and life before you try either.

Umm you can get pregnant if you do gymnastics or not, just to let you know. and you could get them at any drug store or gas station, and no you don't have to be a certain age. try hiding them under your mattress, in a box with a lock on it, or somewhere where you know your mom would never see/check. have fun..

you should definately read up more on sex before you do it. you can get pregnent no matter how many sports you play..
i suggest going to talksexwithsue.com if you want to brush up on some things about sex. definately use a condom and make sure you know HOW to put one on...if your not sure go to google.com and make sure you read up on how to put one on.

go to the store and just buy it..(get an older cousin or an older friend to buy it if your embarassed) ** in drug stores they are pretty much only sold in boxes..but im not the condem expert because im a virgin..planned parenthood might give away condems in their wrappers..so this way you only get one or two*

(like..underneath all your clothes in your dresser....but if your mom usually puts your clothes in your dresser for you, avoid that idea)

you can get pregnant even if you are a world class gymnast fyi unless you dont have your period from the over excersizing. (i think?) you might want to do a bit more research on preventing pregnancy just to be extra safe. you can get condoms anywhere from wal mart to planned parenthood. to hide them..hmm maybe an underwear drawer?? if you like just buy them hide them in your bra. (my friend puts money and stuff down there lol). hope this helps! <3

Okay my person opinion. You are too young and you stand to get hurt. There, I've said it, now on to the advice.
Condoms are highly effective form of birth control, almost 100% effective when used correctly. Which means, learn to use them correctly. Maybe even get some and practice rolling them down a cucumber or some such. Rips and tears in condoms are often there because of improper use.
Although being very active physically, like a gymnastics, can reduce your periods flow and slow your cycle down, it doesn't actually stop you from ovulating, so you have just as much a chance of getting pregant as any other girl.
Get a box of condoms for two reason. One, you need some to practice with and you want to discard any that you might stretch or rip and two, condoms do have an expiry date and often the one or two you can pick up in dispensers or at doctors offices and the like are old and therefor not as effective. It is worth it to buy a good brand of lubricated condoms, they feel better and you are safer.
