its 50/50 chance. I would say your not pregnant, your period sheduale (sp?) could just be off. But I would wait a little longer to judge.

It's possible that you having sex has just thrown your cycle off a bit or something else in your life has affected your period. If you're under a lot of stress, exercising more than usual, or making major dietary changes, they can all make your period disappear.

Since you used protection, I'm assuming a condom or birth control pills, it's unlikely you are pregnant but there is a slight chance. I would give it another week and if you don't start by then, you should either buy a home pregnancy test or go to your doctor or a pregnancy clinic for a test. Even if you're not pregnant, there may an underlying condition that's not showing up.

It's /possible/, just extremely unlikely if you use the protection properly.

Some women will still have their period during pregnancy - and ex of mine had a 2 year old daughter when I met her, and she had her period the /entire/ time she was pregnant.

It is really to early to tell, but you may. I would wait about 2 weeks then go and get an EPT. This will tell you for certain. Hope it helped.

Karen answered Thursday July 21 2005, 10:19 am:
No, there is a rare chance that you're pregnant, since you got your period after you had sex. You're period is just irregular and sex delays your period sometimes. If you're pregnant, you don't menstruate.
