Yes its pretty normal but next time leave it in for about 4 hours and then change it. It also might hurt a little if you just started using them but you will be fine. ll ♥ ll

Well pretty much ya..I had that problem when i firts started using tampons because I wouldn't put them in far enough sp whenever I took them out it hurt a little bit so that could be one rreason..just push it in a little farther if thats what you think the problem is...it could also be you're using to high an absorbency you could knock it down one or you could leave the tampon in a little longer and let it absorb more, if thats the case once you let it absorb more it won't hurt when you take it out. You could also try a slim fit tampon which is thinner so it comes out a little easier..try Platex Gentle Glide Slimfits.. if none of these tips stop the pain..then you shud definitly get checked out by your doctor..good luck...hope i could help x0x *Caitie*

in my opinion i think it hurts because you're not leaving it in there long enough to absorb or you are using a tampon that has too high absobency level so might want bump down one

Yeah, it's pretty common. It's probably because the tampons you are too large (meaning that the aborbancy is too high for your flow). Try switching to a lower aborbancy. If you still have the same problem then try to change them less. It may just be that you are changing them too often which means that they aren't ready to come out as they are too dry. This will cause you pain. Try leaving them in for an extra hour or so. If that still doesn't help then maybe you should make an appointment with your doctor to check that there isn't anything wrong.
