I would just try and avoid going over her house as much as possible. Or one day be like "We should clean." Don't be mean about it, but try and make it fun. Or I would just sit down and talk to her. Be nice about it, but tell the truth. Hope everything works out.

1. Just suggest having sleepovers at your house or another friends, and if they ask why just say well they have a pool. or something else that the girl with the dirty house doesn't have.
2. Jokingly tell her that her house is gross. Be like 'Ew dust, haha jk. sorry I'm such a neat freak i can't help it. then be like i need it to be perfect and clean it for her.' (just and idea, not calling you a neatfreak.)
3. Just plain out tell her.
4. Don't go to her house anymore and make up and excuse.
Well I hope one of these ideas sounds good to you just drop one in my inbox if you need more. Good Luck! [ xBestAddiction's advice column | Ask xBestAddiction A Question ]
MELiixMARiiE answered Friday July 15 2005, 11:27 pm: Okay well something you could do, is just suggest her sleeping over your house more. Just be like," Look you ALWAYS have me sleep over yours, and now it's my time to do the same =)." but if not that.. then I just might wanna tell her how you feel, because I don't see any other way. Just sit down with her and in the nicest way possible be like," Look.. I'm sorry.. I don't know how to say this but.. your house is a little dirty. Like there's bugs and stuff.. so do you think we could please sleep over at my house for now?" ( something like that ) or another idea is to just help her clean the house, or at least the area you're going to sit at and stuff ( that's what I do sometimes at my one friends, she'll have like a dirty glass, so I go and relcean it like over and over again in the sink and stuff.. well of course I am, I ain't drinking outta a dirty glass! lmao! ) anyways, those are the only things I can think of! IM me if you need to talk about it more! Hope I helped!!
twistedteen25 answered Friday July 15 2005, 11:04 pm: You should def. tell her even though it sounds mean you should tell her your not comfortable sleeping over at her house. Truth is probably shes not happy with her home either. So just tell her!

Mackenzie answered Friday July 15 2005, 10:56 pm: Wow. I can see how this would get to you. I hate be amongst flithy environments. Now, is it only HER BEDROOM... or is it her entire house? Maybe she doesn't KNOW BETTER to clean it, because her parents are the same way, you see? In which case... it would hurt her feelings to say something. How about you just say in a joking, yet serious enough to get the point across, voice... "Wow.. [girl's name], your room is a mess!" Like just say it in a teasing voice, ya know?? Then say something like, "I'm gonna clean it." And clean it?? I coudl see how you might now want to, since it may be digusting and dirty and ultimately NOT YOUR mess to straighten up, but perhaps once she feels the warmth of a clean room she will be more opt to keep it this way.
