want to make my own money

Question Posted Tuesday July 12 2005, 7:35 pm

I am 13 and I want to start making my own money instead of having to rely on my parents so much. I'm pretty sure I can't get a REAL job anywhere yet, but I was wondering if there are any other ways. I already know mowing lawns and babysitting but it hasn't worked so well... thanx!

When you turn 14 you can work at Kroger, Albertsons, or Tom Thumb. But until then, babysitting and things like that are the only thing. Or, you can become a dog walker.

You already have the basics down. Try walking dogs, pet-sitting, helping the neighbor bring in groceries, cleaning, or even organize a yard sale. Good luck.

Hey, I have some suggestions. Walk dogs...Doggie-Daycare! Petsit. Your never too old to have a lemonade stand! :p um, clean houses. Do extra chores around the house and get paid by your parents. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll do my best to help you as much as i can. Good Luck and hope you make some money soon!

EDITED

A mothers helper, its like a babysitter, only the parents are around. there are two ways to do this.
1) you can watch the kid(s) while the mom, or dad, cleans or runs errands and you can go with on the errands.
2) you can do the errrands and or clean and tidy up ro make meals while the mom, or dad, is with the kids.

Maybe helping at a local day care center.

Helping elderly around your neighborhood, making meals, helping clean. falls coming, maybe raking leaves. gardening, watering plants.

Teach a little dance class. or helping teach it. ect.
OR A karate class or something.

please leave feedback! if you need anyother ideas, leave one in my inbox!
