I usually like to say reandom things just cuz that's me hehe...but to be on the safe side i'd just ask questions bout things you know you have in common...such as music groups, books, games, sports, or you can always ask about the weather (i especially like it when they live like accross the street :) But most of all be yourself! you can be like 'im thinking of a # one thru ten, guess wut it is. and take turns doing that. i used that once and it actually went on for over a half an hour.

well what i do something is like have a fake convo with a little brother or sister or parents. Make the silence go away. By the time you "come back" to the phone, you'll find something to talk about or the other person will. it's kinda wierd but it works for me.

well if it is someone of the opposite sex talk about somethin they like or that you both like
if it is just a friend then talk about whatr they did today and talk about meetin up sometime to go do somethin...
that will also work with the first one (opposite sex)

lol yes i finally figured out what to do..i had that problem also..well..watch tv or something like the same thing they are and talk about it..itll be like your with them! or bring up something hella random like "i like cows" or soemthing like that theyll be like "uhm?" haha and start talking about it too..if their fun! also u can ask them what they did that day, or the day before. or what they did over summer..or start like lightly singin something and theyll be like "oh thats lovly" or somethin random like that! but try that i stayed on the fone for 6 hours with just the randomness and tv so itll work if the person your talkin to is fun!! haha trust mee!!

Heres what I do:
Play a agme of where are you in the house.
All you have to do is ask the person you're talking to, to guess where you are in the house. What floor, what room, what you're sitting on. Also you can play What are you wearing where one person guesses what you are wearing. Its kind of stupid but its fun!!! lol

1)Bring up something that has happened recently with yourself or them
2)Talk about an inside joke
3)say, "well this si wierd" and something will pop up?
4)talk about what u r doing....maybe
5)tell a funny story of something that happened to you
