Hope this helps. [ cujobird's advice column | Ask cujobird A Question ]
cicci answered Sunday July 10 2005, 9:38 am: There's a really good diet called the GI diet (it stands for Glycemic Index), and in it you eat foods that fill you up so that you don't feel hungry because they travel more slowly through your digestive system. Most diets fail, but this one is really hard to fail at because you don't want to eat anything else! I know quite a few people who've been on it, and one of them has gone from a size 18 to a size 12 in about 4 months! You might not be looking for a long-term diet, but if you are this one really works, and stops you getting hungry. If you want more information on it, there's a website at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) [ cicci's advice column | Ask cicci A Question ]
The_MoUsY_spell_checker answered Sunday July 10 2005, 8:33 am: Vegetables with a lot of fibre have very few calories (especially celery and carrots), I'm not sure if they make you feel full though.
Meat also makes you full because of the protein, and chicken breast is quite low in fat.
beachhun101 answered Sunday July 10 2005, 1:42 am: things w/ fiber like carrots, light popcorn-crunchy things. also soup is like the number one filler i heard, and its pretty healthy especially if you ahev a cold! [ beachhun101's advice column | Ask beachhun101 A Question ]

also if you drink a lot of Water you can stay pretty full. Also yogurt that is fat free...I eat about two of these a day for just snacks and they last me a while!
SilentOne answered Saturday July 9 2005, 11:35 pm: Nutritionally speaking, anything with a lot of fibre will fill you up, but you can't digest the fibre so you won't get heaps of energy from the food. There's a lot of fibre in vegetables like celery, carrots, oats, and grains. Fruit will generally have an o.k. amount of fibre, but stay away from apples-they're mostly sugar. Drink a lot of water, it fills you up for a while, and flushes anything nasty from your system. A general rule of thumb is that the more it's processed, the less fibre it's got, and the less fibre it's got, the more junk they have to replace the fibre with. Whole-grain bread is a lot better than white, I'm not sure about those "wonder-white" products which claim to have fibre, I wouldn't trust them personally.
Just as an after-note, and I'm presuming you are trying to control your weight...whatever you do, never compromise your health by eating too narrow a range of foods, the body needs nutrients in moderation, and if you're overweight, not eating for 3 days is going to do much more harm than good.
There's a lot of nutritional information on the web, maybe if you wanted specifics you could go there. Also, I don't know where you live so I can't say for sure, but there should be calorie rating information on food packets for packaged foods. The less calories, the less energy.
