k.. i really love this kid john, he loves me alot too. but hes going away for 2 nd a half weeks, he said he was gonna ask me out in augest the begniging (sp). should i wait for him to ask me out? or should i just TRY to get over him?

I believe that you should wait for him, many many couples are seperated for many months, For example: people that go on bisness trips or people that are in war, they are gone for a long period of time and are still in love with each other and feelings do not change. If he loves you too, he will wait and not go with any other girl during those 2 weeks. Hope i helped you

it's just two weeks, kiddo, when he gets back, ask him out yourself and surprise him with a take charge attitude that he wouldn't expect from someone he told to wait 2 weeks for him to ask her out ;-)

if you rele love him and he loves you it will be worth the wait.. love takes time and you have to be patient.. it wont be easy i kno.. my boyfriend that i love more than anything has been gone for hte past 2 weeks, just got home at like 3 today, and is leaving for another 2 weeks in the morning but i'll wait for him because i love him((almost 5 months is not gonna go to waste because hes been gone alot this summer))and if you truely love this guy you should wait too..

thats really kind of weird that he would ask you out after his vacation bc if he's here now he should ask you out now unless hes like leaving noww..? Well to answer your question i would wait for him because although it might seem like FOREVER two weeks will fly right past and if you really love him why would u want to get over him? If you really love John, then you should wait for sure. This will show you that if you can go a long time with out him in the future which means if you guys do go out (hopefully!) and he goes away again then you'll b able to cope with out him there. If you REALLY love him, then there's no way you can just get over that quickly.
