HyperactiveMiss answered Saturday July 2 2005, 11:14 pm: Don't feel alone on this, I'm sure many people are going through the same thing. I have these bumps as well on the back of my upper arms and on the back of my lower legs. I've had them my whole life as well. They don't sound so bad, but they really have affected my life (I never went out with out a jacket and I always wore pants). It's defnitely not allergies.
We asked my doctor about my skin, and he told us years ago that it would go away eventually and that it was just because of dry skin. Well, it's been years and it hasn't gone away.
I've tried lotion and exfoliaters too. They worked...but they only helped a little.
Right now I still have these bumps, but they're slowly disappearing and it's starting to work! What I've been doing is when I take I shower I do NOT use soap on the problem areas. I also use the Proactiv Renewing Cleanser on the problem areas. After my shower I use Vitamin E creme.
It's been working for me; maybe it'll work for you! I know the no soap thing may seem nasty or something, but just give it a chance. Soap is what dries out your skin, which is causing the bumps. As for the Protactiv, visit this site for more info: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) It may be a little expensive, but it's worth a try.
ask_elmo answered Saturday July 2 2005, 9:25 pm: I have the same thing on the back of my upper arms and on the back of my lower legs. I have been meaning to go to a dermatologist to see what it is, because I have been told that they can prescribe a cream for it. So don't worry, you're not alone on this, and it sucks for me too. =( All I can really say is that you should go to a detmatologist to get it checked out.
Best of luck!

vermillion26 answered Saturday July 2 2005, 9:04 pm: my friend had that condition on her arms, legs, back and chest. I forget what its called, though. You should go see a dermatoligit. If you don't know a dermatoligist than you can go to your doctor and they should be able to reccomend someone.
xGAWSHNESSx answered Saturday July 2 2005, 9:01 pm: i'd suggest goin to see a dermatoligist. it doesnt sound like a rash (like u said) or hives or anything. and since uve had them for most of your life i doubt its a allergic reaction.
hope ive helped!
