passionate answered Tuesday June 28 2005, 10:58 am: Well, usually I bring chips and candy for my sugar urges. For nutrition I would bring grapes and carrots, etc. And if you just want something filling buy fast-food.
IAmShammay answered Tuesday June 28 2005, 10:42 am: well if you want healthy, go for grapes, peanuts, crackers, those smartfood popcorn bags, ect.
you should bring a small cooler with you and put sandwiches, drinks, yogurt, fruit. its better to stay away from the junk food when ur traveling, because whats worse than being sick in a car?

S_C answered Tuesday June 28 2005, 9:51 am: Wow, good timeing for you to ask this, my family is driving to NY Thursday, and my mom had me pick out what to get.
We got cookies& bars (Cookies & M&M's, and Cookies&snickers.) You can get slim jims, teddy grams, granola bars, anything you like that you can easily hold while driving (unless you aren't the driver, then it doesn't matter) For drinks, I always drink flavored water, but we bring flavored water, gatorade, and regular water. Plus my parents always bring a cup of coffee, and me and my brother bring mugs for when we stop at rest stops and get hot chocolate (it's a 12 hour drive from NC so we leave anywhere from 4-6am)
Ummm, we also got pringles, and we always stop at McDonalds, though this time I think we're just going to use the drive-through because last time it took too long. But I'm sure you don't care about that haha.
If that doesn't help, another columnist (MFS) shared with some of us a wonderful website (and it's a real site too)

Sporkster answered Tuesday June 28 2005, 9:35 am: Something that's easy to eat and won't make you sick/nauseated. Try stuff like little packets of peanuts, Ritz crackers, grapes, apple slices, a banana, etc. These are all quite good for you, and may actually help to prevent car sickness. Make sure you bring a good drink too: bottled water and Gatorade are my favorites. Sprite helps calm a sick stomach.
AnonymousAdviceGiver answered Tuesday June 28 2005, 9:09 am: Munchies are only the best snack food ever made. They come in a variety of flavors. I highly recommend the kids kind and the original.
Flaky Flix are good.
Some type of granola bar is good to have around since you can only eat so much crap before you get sick.
oBaByGiRlo5 answered Tuesday June 28 2005, 8:44 am: Anything that is easy, Chips, Cookies, Pop/water in bottles. Those little boxes of ceral.. and like if you want real food pack sandwiches!!!!
