Going on a diet doesn't mean you cant eat normal foods it just about not eating the little unhealthy snacks in the middle...with your main meals try eating dark green lettuce [with dinner] and any other time try and eat like a yogurt or a piece of fruit [with lunch or breakfast] this should REALLY HELP! i hope i helped you!

Lacy answered Monday June 20 2005, 6:29 pm: My parents are on low carb diets too. You'll want to avoid things like bread, pasta, and potatoes (three of my favorite foods). However, there is a new study that dairy helps you lose pounds faster. If that's what you're aiming for, it might be better to go for a balanced diet, not a low carb diet. But don't forget: a good diet isn't all that's necessary. I know you've probably heard it a hundred times, but excercise is very important too. Thirty minutes on the tredmill won't only keep those extra pounds off, but it gives you strength and energy. [ Lacy's advice column | Ask Lacy A Question ]
Michele answered Saturday June 18 2005, 4:52 pm: You can eat complex carbs which are vegetables, and whole grain breads or cereals. Basically what your supposed to avoid on a low carb diet is the white stuff, white bread, white rice, white pasta, and white sugar, which included chocolate, because it has white sugar in it. So That means no baked goods, no cookies, no candy, no soda, And it's also best to avoid high fat food like fried food, chips, cheese. And choose low fat or no fat dairy products.
