Go to a softball camp or clinic over the summer or during whatever season you can. Trust me, it helps. Next season when you tryout for the team, make sure you have confidence and keep your head up. Just play your game, and don't worry about the other girls or coaches watching you. It also helps if you tryout for more than one team. Even if you don't make one, you'll most likely make the other. And don't forget the reason that you play the sport in the first place, to have fun. [ wrwckfhgk9408's advice column | Ask wrwckfhgk9408 A Question ]

karenR answered Tuesday June 14 2005, 2:00 am: Oh go ahead and cry. It isn't much but it helps sometimes just to cut loose! Is there another team you can try out for? If so do it. Just play for the fun of it. You'll probably make it next time, you just had a bad try out this time. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

Hope for the best!
