There are gonna be more tryouts right? Well, start getting ready now! Watch your sister's softball games and pay attention to the way she plays. Ask her for help with anything you need. After all, she made it right? Is there anything that you are struggling with in particular like batting or fielding? Ask your sister about it, I'm sure she will be more than happy to help you out.

Firstly, don't take it too hard. I know it hurts because i've been there too. Don't be too hard on yourself for not making it. Go to a softball camp or clinic over the summer or during whatever season you can. Trust me, it helps. Next season when you tryout for the team, make sure you have confidence and keep your head up. Just play your game, and don't worry about the other girls or coaches watching you. It also helps if you tryout for more than one team. Even if you don't make one, you'll most likely make the other. And don't forget the reason that you play the sport in the first place, to have fun.

hun .. if making the team meant a lot to you than i say cry all you want. and it's not fair that your sister made it and you didn't. but don't let not making the team drag you down on how you play and definitly DON'T LET IT DISTRACT YOU when you're playing other games. play your hardest, go to camps where there are a lot of people that would help you get recognized and who knows, maybe you'll make a traveling team. i've played basketball my whole life and i'm on a traveling team and it's not easy doing that. we have tourny's every weekend, practice 4 nights a week, and no mercy! try out for another team and play your hardest is pretty much what i'm trying to say .. don't let it get to ya. i hope i helped you a little and GOOD LUCK!

Oh go ahead and cry. It isn't much but it helps sometimes just to cut loose! Is there another team you can try out for? If so do it. Just play for the fun of it. You'll probably make it next time, you just had a bad try out this time. :)

Well sorry about soft ball, but what about track, basket ball, football, swimming,or even tennis. There are some many sports out there don't give up because one turned you down!
Hope for the best!
