Mackenzie answered Tuesday June 14 2005, 3:21 pm: This is a big pRoblem foR me also, so I know how you feel; I've been theRe, and it's not good. I Reccommend using an anti-peRspiRant deodoRant, followed by RegulaR baby powdeR. The anti-peRspiRant of couRse helps to Reduce sweating, oR at least is said to, but in ouR case... neveR does. Then with the assistance of applying baby powdeR Right oveR the deodoRant, the poRes undeR youR aRm close, theRefoRe, moRe oR less tRapping the sweat in, so to speak. Honestly, this almost ALWAYS woRks foR me, but theRe *ARE* days when it's simply not good enough, and that can be a pain in the ass, so I usually make a point of caRRying some soRt of jacket. HeaRing that, theRe's this pRoduct people aRe talking about on this site, and even adveRtised on television called CeRtainDRi. Now, they say it can be puRchased at Wal-gReens, RiteAid, CVS, and WalmaRt, howeveR, EVERY SINGLE TIME I've been to the stoRe looking foR it, I neveR seen it on the shelves. NatuRally, this leads me to ask an employee wheRe I can find it, and they *always* tell me they've neveR heaRd of it, and they do not caRRy the pRoduct... which just leaves you speechless and with a feeling of, 'what now?' If the pRoblem peRsists, peRhaps you should consult a physician, who can supply you with pRopeR medication. Also, he can give you shots that kind of close up youR poRes, so sweating neveR Really happens again. I'm not shoRe if that's an option foR you, but I Recommend asking him foR moRe info. But whateveR you decide to do, goodluck fRom someone who knows EXACTLY what you'Re going thRough!! Hopefully I've been of some help; know that you can always come back to me if you need anotheR opinion. =D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

vermillion26 answered Monday June 13 2005, 10:35 pm: you may have a condition called hyperhidrosis. it is a condition where you swaet a lot under your arms, on your top lip, on the plams of your hands and in other various places. you might want to see a dermatoligist. if you cant find one, you should consult a family doctor and they should be able to direct you to one. there are treatments for hyperhidrosis. odnt worry about it too much, just see a dermatoligist and see what they say. good luck.
orphans answered Monday June 13 2005, 10:22 pm: I asked the same question a while ago, and I got some of the same, rude remarks. Try Certain Dry, I couldn't find it at first but I got it from a drugstore called London Drugs. It was about $7. It *saved* my life, now I don't know what I would do without it. If that doesn't work then just wear cottony shirts and a strong deodorant, and ask your doctor for some tips too.
orphans answered Monday June 13 2005, 8:04 pm: you have hyperhydrosis. hyperhydrosis is when you sweat either under your arms, on your hands, or your feet. my friend has hyperhydrosis also, but it's for her feet and hands. you should go to the skin doctor, and get some medicine for it. if the medicine doesnt work, then you should look up on google:"hyperhydrosis treatments". then you can order medicine from there, or you can go to a special hyperhydrosis doctor.

oxheather answered Monday June 13 2005, 4:11 pm: Okay! I know someone that has the same problem as you do. Don't worry!
Try searching the internet for antiperspirants, not necessarily deoderants. They have all different options such as sprays, creams, sticks, gels, etc. If then after trying a few out and still aren't happy try going to your doctor and getting check out, he can perscribe you Drysol.
cUrLyHaiReDcUtiE16 answered Monday June 13 2005, 3:29 pm: heyy .. try certain dry its the best thing there is out there and umm what i do is buy a good smelling body splash at bath and body works and i have sweet pea byy the way and just spray it with the certain dry and it works wonders trust me i do it
Karen answered Monday June 13 2005, 3:17 pm: You should definitely try buying and using Certain Dri. It's the strongest anti-perspirant deoderant that you can get over-the-counter and it basically closes up your sweat pores so you won't sweat that much underneath your underarms. It costs less than $10 at your local pharmacy but it's worth it. You still have to use a regular deoderant after you've put on Certain Dri but it will help your problem. Anniex3 answered Monday June 13 2005, 2:39 pm: I want to answer that correctly, badly. But here's what I got. I myself sweat under my arms, and whenever I put on deoderant, I just keep sweating and the smell of my deoderant becomes violent, and you can just all out smell my deoderant. I myself might as well be a stick. Maybe a gynocologist (yeah, didn't spell that right) could help you out. [ Anniex3's advice column | Ask Anniex3 A Question ]
