belly button ring
i am 14F and i want to get a belly button ring. what do you think of a belly button ring? and how do i convince my mom to let me get one because she keep thinking of the future and saying when you get old and decide to have a baby.. it will get all streched out or it will get infected

omg i love belly botton rings they loook so cute with bathing suits, my cousin had her belly botton ring and then she got pregnant after she had her baby her belly botton hole closed because her stomach was all streched out, and trust me after you have a baby (when you get older or whatever) you wont want anyone seeing you streched out stomach, and if your stomach is not streched out then the hole will be closed trust me, and then if you want you can get it re-periced. just tell your mom what i told you and hopefully she will tell you what you want to hear

just tell her its no biq deal, everyone has them & its only liek a little qem on your belly button. tell her you dont want it too show off all the time, tell her since its summer your stomach would look better in a bikini with one in or somethinq !! it def works trust me ♥

i have a belly ring! i absolutly love it. i just asked my mom over and over again and printed out stuff about it for her. she eventually brought me to get it done. my friend's mom wouldnt let her get hers done so haha i dont reccommend this but this is what she did. she had two people pierce it at school one day. then she told her mom and her mom took her to get it done perfessionnally haha so try that? ♥

well you shouild get one if you feel like it...and i am dieing to get my belly button done and i am when im 15..and i always thought of that!!ehat do you do when you have a baby????you can take it out, but then it might close up..and i dont no where your moms gegting that it might get inffected when your pregant..and thats not true..just another excyse not to get it..lol...well if you do decide to get it rember to be responsible and clean it with salt...my friend says that all you gotta do is take good care of it and clean it all the time and always be responsible...

well when you gt older you can decide if you want to keep it or not and im sure youd have it for a while. i hope you dont plan on having a baby soon so by the time you do you can be able to take it out and after you have the kid put it back in

well .. i'm all for belly button rings and when i turn 14 too i get one. try to make an agreement with your mom that if you can get a belly button ring you will do whatever. and about her and the future just tell her you will be really responsible with it and if you do ever get pregnant you'll be really responsible with it and take care of it well.

Here is some advice what I did was made a deal with my mom I think you should do that and mabey she will let you

14 is alittle young, since if you have a bellybutton piercing, you'll want to show it off. And 14 is too young to be wearing little clothes like that, sorry, but it's true. Plus when you get older it wont stretch, but you'll probably want to take it out when your belly starts getting bigger. but if you really need it so bad, just have a talk with her about it, go over all the precautions and how much you want it and why you want it and really stick with your argument, and maybe you can convince her, good luck.

Well, at the end of the day it is up to you but I think you have to be 16? In the future when you have a child you can easily take it out - it won't get infected.

Well if your mom says no it's no. But you can always look up places that you can get it done and tell your mom about the background of the place. Make sure it's certified.
As for the streching out, well you can always take it out when you start to get bigger. And as for infection well infections can be prevented if you twist the ring around every day and apply alcohol or polysporin (sp?).
I think the best thing is to get a friend who has a belly button ring and tell your mom to talk to her mom. Usally it helps if your mom get info from another trusted adult.
