wax? I was lighting a candle when I misjudged the distance from my arm to the candle. Hot wax spilled all over my pants. Does wax come out of pants? I love these pants, I hate the big wax blob on them. help me out? if you can?

freeze them and them lightly scrape the wax off. ]
It should be quite easy to remove the wax from your trousers. You need to find some absorbent paper that is reasonably strong-blotting paper would be ideal but kitchen roll would do.
Set the trousers up ready to iron and have the iron on a medium setting. Place the paper over the wax and iron on top of it. Keep the iron moving so that the paper doesn't burn. If it starts to singe easily then lower the temperature of the iron. Replace the paper when it gets too greasy.
This should melt off and remove most of the wax, if there is still a slight mark at the end then just try washing the trousers as normal.
Hope that helped,

Step one: Scratch off whatever wax you can.
Step two: Put a brown paper bag over the wax blob and iron it.
Step three: Repeat these steps until it is gone. ]
I would just scrap it off if i could! ]
This is how you get wax out of pants: Iron the spot that has the wax BUT dont iron it directly; put a brown paper bag in between the pants and the iron. Then, iron hard and the wax should come off. This is how my mom gets wax stains out of tablecloths, so it should work on pants. Good luck <3 Annie ]
all i can say is try getting it off by picking at it but dont rub it in the pants then wash it and keep washing it until it comes out (if you keep washing though it might fade the pants so u have been notified)

Maybe scrape it off with your finger nail or something cause when it drys its real easy to peal offf.. or wash them in the washing machine on super clean or something like that heavy duty.. im sure it'll come out.. no worries. ♥ ]
I beleive the old wisdom was to take a brown grocery bag and place it over the wax on the pants... then using gentle head form an iron, rub the bag against the fabric - the heavy paper fibers will wick the melted wax out of the pants - good as new. Some waxes will also come out in the wash (depends on the molecular weight of the pararffin chain... yeah, don't ask) - if the ironing doesn't work for you, you can try hand-washing the pants in hot water, and use a gentle scrubbing with a soft-bristle brush to get the wax out. ]
