Girlfriend is insecure around me
My girlfriend is a quite beautiful girl. And I know she knows she's beautiful. She's also pretty damn confident. But, for some reason it seems like she's insecure around me. Every time we're intimate and I try to slid my hand down her stomach she sucks it in. I guess she doesn't think I notice but, I do. She has a fine, flat tummy so why she feels the need to suck it in is beyond me. I also don't understand if I did anything to make her feel insecure. I tell her that I think she's beautiful every chance I get. I don't know what to do here.

she just might be worried that you need better. she might think that she's not thin enough. alot of girls are self cautious of their body. just tell her she has the best body you've ever seen in the world out of any supermodel or celeb.

it's probably not you that made her feel insecure. she probably just feels a little nervous when you do that. it's not that she doesn't like you doing that or anything though.

Girls, and grown women (I am guilty too) have this thing I like to call "Fataphobia". The fear of being to the heavy side more than the skinny side.
It doesn't matter how much you tell her she is prefect, pretty, or thin it matters how she sees herself. However, compliments are always appreciated!
All the cosmo mags drill it into females minds that rail thin is where it is at.
In time she will hopefully get over the personal insecurites.

most girls feel that way. your opinion might be that she is beautiful and skinny but her opinion might be she is fatt. ppl think that way because they compare themsleves to ppl who they think are "better" than themselves. ex: models, actresses. They pick out their imperfections and make themselves feel worse. i know i do it all the time.most of the time you cant change their opinion. hope i helped

Well, has she ever said to you that she thinks she's fat? Because whenever my boyfriend touches my stomach like that, I suck in too. It's not because I don't want him to feel the little bit of pudge I have, but it's because it tickles. Has she ever said that it tickled? Because honestly, if she's never said anything about her thinking she was fat or anything, it's probably just because it tickles. Or, it could be because your hands are cold. I honestly do the same exact thing when he touches me like that. And if I ever touch him on his stomach, he does the same thing for the same reasons. You should ask her why she does it. Just be completely straight forward about it and ask. It never hurts to ask I promise. If she's that confident about herself and she knows she's beautiful, then I'm sure it's one of the two reasons I listed- If not both.

Two things come to mind.
1) Maybe your tickling her and it is just a reflex. Does she seem ticklish to you?
2) Girls, even a perfect one is insecure around her guy. After all you are the one she most wants to impress. Nothing you have done or anything...just a girl thing. :)

no matter what any girl tells you....girls always think they can look better. i know when my boyfriend tries to do anything like that i always used to be really jumpy but then he confronted me about it and now i feel fine just letting it all hang out around him lol....next time she does it...whisper to her in a really sweet and loving voice "why are you doing that" or something like that. then she will probally start talking about it. then its your chance to brag on her like no other! lol....let me know if you need anything else!

She's probably not used to habing a boy friend like you, and wants to impress you. a lot of girls think they are fat, some just wanting attention, others really thinking it. Just try to talk to her maybe, tell her that there is no need to worry about those kind of thing. HoPE i hELpeD! Good luck :D

Has she said anything about this? Because it's quite possible that she's tightening her stomach as a reaction to your touch, not because she's thinking about it sticking out. A light touch on my stomach is slightly ticklish - not enough to make me laugh, but enough for my muscles to tighten up, and sometimes enough for me to flinch away from it. Also, sometimes when I'm aroused, my stomach and thigh muscles tense up more noticeably than the rest of my body.

tell her how u feel, u may do it often but just like explain try putting feelings into words and tell her how you really feel about her and hwne your around her, she'll understand you love her the way she is and that she doesn't need to change for you. when she does suck in tell her that you have noticed and say she dont need to, reasure her that shes perfect!
