Just go with it and do what you feels right. Most people just sway really so its not like you have to bust some super moves.

well you don't really need to know how to dance because dancing is mainly about expressing yourself and just having fun do whatever you feel and don't feel stupid about dancing because other people will be dancing to not just you do whatever comes to mind then start dancing and have fun.

Just move your body to the music. Let the beat flow through you. Trust me it works!

really all dancing is today is air humping, so if you're good at that then you don't have to worry.

slow dance.. put your hands on the guys shoulders and just sway side to side
fast dance.. move your hips around to the beat.. try swaying your hips side to side then move them in a circle.. just watch music videos and feel the beat

From now on, start practice dancing. If you don't want to ask your friends about it then maybe you go to the person who's closest to you and the person who knows how to dance. After that, maybe you can have many sessions with her about dancing then you can practice and practice until it'll be perfect. Just have confidence in yourself all throughout the dance and don't be nervous. Hope I helped!

When you`re dancing you just have to feel the beat. If you are slow dancing the guy will put his hands around your waist and you need to put your hands around his neck. Have fun! X0`

How to slow dance:

The guy will put his arms around your waist, and you put your arms around his neck. Then, you move from side to side (sort of shuffle your feet from side to side) or follow the guy you're dancing with (Like, if he's moving in a circle, move in a circle, too).

Other than that, just let loose! Dance any way you want to! Forget the people around you and move to the music. It might be hard at first if you're shy, but believe me, I'm shy, and I got the hang of it after I tried a few times.

Practice some moves in a mirror. Turn on some music that's good to dance to and make up some dance moves. Remember the ones that look good, and you can use those at the dance party.

You can watch some music videos and learn some dance moves from them, too!

They also have videos that can help you learn certain dances, like Darrin's Dance Grooves.

Also remember that most people are so busy dancing themselves, that they are most likely not paying attention to the people around them. So let loose and have fun!

I hope I helped, and if you have any more questions, feel free to leave one in my inbox!
