hey. ok im really shy and stuff...and tomorrow i have to present like a 2-3 minute thing in front of my class..but i always get REALLY nervous when i present stuff alone..like i forget what to say and i sweat and stuff, and not only does that make me look like a freak, but my grade gets low...what should i do?? plz help =(

here's a trick one of my teachers tought me, don't look anyone in the eye, look at their forehead, that way it looks like you're looking them in the eye but you're really not, as for the forgetting thing, the best advice anyone can give is practice in front of a lot of people, like friends and family that might help

Hun, I had to present a 9 minute speech and I was really nervous. What I did was think " in so many minutes it will be over". Also... I tried not to think too much about the people in the audience. I concentrated on memorizing everything. But if you worry so much and it causes your grades to get low maybe you have an anxiety disorder. I was diagnosed with one. They give you medicine and believe me, it helps. Maybe you should check into it? Good luck sweetie!

Have note cards with you if you're allowed, and look at people's noses rather than eyes so that it looks like you're making eye contact but not. DO NOT PICTURE PEOPLE NAKED!! I don't know about you, but that would definitely distract and mentally scar me to picture my classmates naked. Also make sure you know exactly what you're going to say and know the material. Practice with friends/family also.

o i kno how you feel ! but honestly how many people REALLY listen to presentations. i mean when our class does a presentaion, hardley anyone listens. so you really have nothing to be worried about. you just gotta have confidence and act like you dont care what ppl think and have fun!

you need to feel more confinent. dont care so much about what people think, theyll forget soon anyway, everyone messes up during presentations at somes time. but to make you feel better stare at a really good friend who will tell you how your doing and practice alot alot alot alot....... well you get the point. if your prepared youll do awesome!!! dont worry. good luck. pleze rate

Try to look at the wall behind your class! That's what i do cause i get nervous too! And jsut start doing your project and dont think about them! You'll do fine!

Well there is this book out. it is for adults who also have to do speeches in front of people and one of the suggestions is: imagine that everyone in front of you is naked. I am not sure why, but I guess it makes you embarrased for them, so you don't feel so embarrased. the other thing I know for sure, is that every kid there in the class that is looking at you, is just GLAD THAT THEY ARE NOT THE ONES UP THERE. They are not listening, they are not even interested. If they have already had their turn, they are just relieved. It their turn is coming up soon, they are just nervous as hell. The only one really paying attention is the teacher. So make sure your lines are memorized and you have a better chance of doing OK.

practice infront of your mom or other friends. have a speach that you have down pat so you can't stutter. It will go by fast and painless. Pretend your just talking to your teacher or just your friends.

You just need to think that your the only one there don't think bout all the people in the room just think bout your self anyways just take some notes if u can and read them infront of the people.
