I don't know if there is a clear cut answer to the problem If you can stop I would say stop its better if you do. As a young person such as your self I did that same thing and I felt guilty about it. My conscience testified ageist me and maybe some if it was condemnation. So as a young person I would say try to stop where does it say its good or where does it say its bad. There are those ppl who are hollyer than thou but if you conscience is saying no I think God can use that to talk to you. As I get older its something telling me to get married. One of the problems is its not the real thing its not love and its not sex. Its misleading and abusive in a way but thats me. bible.com has some ansers I agree with some of it and other verses I think there out of context only Jesus was perfect the dispels where not.

Amazingly enuf Wikipedia gives some good answers for love. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
You get into the greek and there is five types of love.

The bible says if you don't love your self you can't love others something like that. If you don't its just mechanical and that sucks.
The bible also says in the fruit of the spirit the his love possessed us. It may not be a feeling but a state of being ... where it says be filled with the holy spirit its saying be possessed with the holy spirit. God considers it to be a holy thing
and to be in the context of marriage. Sex sells a piece of gum sells you car. Its marketing take your most basic human need and exploit it. Its every where you look. You may be looking for love in all the wrong places. Don't try to get too deep the heart if deceptively wicked only the holy spirit should search out the heart. I don't have clear cut answers my self because I don't know I know if you stop your better off. Love your self and try to not to give into that nature if you can. And you can ask God for help and revelation on the truth.

Masturbation is not a sin, unless its causing problems for you in life. If not, then keep it up! ITs a good way to keep away from unsafe sex and plus, its healthy. I do it on a daily basis, multiple times. It's a form of abstenance, in my opinion. Better to masturbate than have sex with someone without a condom..

So don't stop. Keep yourself happy and away from STD's and pregnancies and stuff. >=

No masterbation is not a sin,and you don't have to stop. Unles it is inteferring with normal life. If you are not spending time with your friends or family or not doing your homework because and your grades are suffering, then you have a problem. But if it is not interring with your life, then don't worry, you will slow down on your own in time.

rainbowcherrie answered Saturday April 30 2005, 4:04 am:
Some strong Christians and possibly people from other religions believe that masturbation is a sin. However, not many people really believe that anymore and it has become and natural and common thing to do. It is up to you whether you masturbate or not, if you are a strong Christian then you might want to stop due to your beliefs but you don't have to if you don't want to. This whole situation is similar to gay marriages, in the Bible it says that they are wrong but a lot of people, including Christians don't believe that anymore. So basically, masturbation is only a sin if you believe it is.

sorry buddy, its a good form of hormone control.
if not, you'll go nuts after a few weeks and start acting crazy toward women. plus your standards will take a dive and you'll be willing to do any girl. she may be stupid and shallow and weigh 400 pounds, but she has boobs and a vagina, and thats all you'll think about.
thats the way i am. it may be due to my hyperactive sex drive. but its my opinion, now isn't it?
try stopping for a few months, i dare you.
