TheUsedRock92 answered Monday April 25 2005, 3:43 pm: yes, toothpaste works because it drys up the spot you put it on and reduces the pimple. you could use clearasil maximum strength with aloe pads. that works if you use it 3 times a day in the morning, after school, and at night. hope i helped. ShYbl0nD3 answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:36 pm: i did try the toothpast before i went to bed and i was suprized that it did help. Eating fruit and drinking water helps reduce them. I use this cream that i got from a vitamin shop and it really helps too. Its called homeopathic fragrance-free acne cream. It works pretty good for me so maybe try that. Ive also heard that proactive works but i havent tried it yet.
hope i helped! [ ShYbl0nD3's advice column | Ask ShYbl0nD3 A Question ]
LidDLemiSzJkiDd answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:21 pm: I`ve heard toothpaste works good too, but i`ve never tried it personally, because i`m scared that it`ll make me break out even more. I usually put some kind of triple antibiotic on it, (like neosporn) before i go to bed, and the next day they`re gone. [ LidDLemiSzJkiDd's advice column | Ask LidDLemiSzJkiDd A Question ]
Duckie answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:10 pm: The toothpaste will clear some of the redness, and make the pimples go down a little in size. Try that, it should help..and then just use makeup to cover them up in the morning. Really, you should go to a local store/drug store and get some pimple creams. Clearasil, and Stridex work wonders, and are both under 8 dollars. Good luck, just don't touch your face, and wash it!
xbebopchrisx answered Sunday April 24 2005, 7:58 pm: Toothpaste does dry out and reduce the size of pimples but for the most part is only used if you have a very few pimples. Clearasil or Neutrogena products work very well. Um, I use rubbing alcohol on my face but I don’t' recommend it for just anyone. I have extremely strong oily skin. Do not use Alcohol if you have sensitive skin!! It will burn. But since my skin is strong and very oily I don't have to worry about having my skin too dried out or burned. Good luck! piinkdiiamondsz_17 answered Sunday April 24 2005, 7:34 pm: you should try clearasil. it works really good! put it on before you go to bed and your pimples will have shrunk by morning! about the toothpaste theory, its supposed to work because when it dries it dries out your skin, killing the zit. hope this helps!
Karen answered Sunday April 24 2005, 7:17 pm: Toothpaste reduces the redness and the size of a zit or two, as well as drys them out. Basically, yes, toothpaste works. You can try use rubbing alcohol and that will dry them out if you use it when your face is moist. Try using toothpaste for now and don't use that much or it will dry out your skin.
