all guinea pigs whine..they sort of make a sqweeking noice? it either wants food, water, treats, or attention..or it could just be the kind that sqweeks all the time. my cuzin had one and it sqweeked non stop and the vet said it was normal..dont worry about it! its just how guinea pigs are!

It could have been uncomfortable. When it purrs, it usually like's whatever is being done, or is more comfortable.

Maybe her guinea pig needs to adjust to its new surroundings. Your house obviously looks and smells a lot different than a pet store!

Because guinnea pigs' brains are hardly as big as their frigging eyeballs? All they want is attention, like cats, except they dont sound like airplanes and give you funny looks when you try to imitate them. Just hold it and it should be quiet....
