Black spots on teeth
I just got braces a week ago and after I came home, I noticed these tiny tiny black spots on my teeth...I tried brushing it off, but they won't come off...Now it's a week later and they're still here..It's not really noticeable unless you look closely but I notice them. Can anyone help? I rate. Thanks

I Have those too! I got my braces of TWO years ago, and they are still there, i talked to my dentist and she seyd they are harmless and just were the bracets might have left lil marks or from the glue used to keep them in! If they are Realllyy bothering yooh, talk to yur orthodontist for more information!

it might be the stuff they stick the braces on with. i would call the ortho place and ask them about it.. and then go in and see if they can get it off. im sure it just is the stuff they used to stick it on

You should call your orthadontist and make sure that nothing is wrong. Then see if there is a possible way to get rid of them. Hope I helped and good luck.

Go to doctors, and see what they are they could be nothing it might just be rust or bits of the braces.

I don't really know what it is but i suggest bleaching. It may be rotting i don't know.

tell your dentist who put the braces on you and he will knwo what to do or you shoudl try brushing more maybe if you dont brush enough

I think it is just when you got your braces off, the cement took some of ur emanel or your top layer of your tooth. After bushing good, it should come off. If not you may need to bleach them a couple of times. hope i helped.

Well, as a victum of braces myself, I had the little spots to. I told my mom, and she went to my dentist and got a home teeth whiting kit (bleaching). They went away in no time.

well i had braces twice, and those black spots might be plaque. if you show your mom, and she takes you to the dentest, they can probably help you out more than anybody else on advicenators. sorry i couldnt help much, but out of all of the 4 years i have had mine, i never had black spots. they can even be cavities, or something from the material of the braces. sorry! good luck. <3 xox allee

i have braces too and i`ve had lil black spots on my teeth before. it could have been from something you ate because that`s what happened to me. keep brushing on that spot where the lil black spots are and it should go away soon ♥

well, i have braces too, so i might be able to help you a little bit... but it really depends on where it is at on your teeth and like how much there is. if it is like inbetween your braces where you can't get it, then it could just be like little pieces of food that is like impossible to get out no matter how hard you try (its happened to me before..i hate it).....if it is at like the bottom of your tooth, then it could be a cavity or something. Other than that i really don't know...you could try asking your orthodontist...they always know everything....or you could send me something in my inbox and tell me more about it so that i could try to help you a little more. Since u just said it is at the bottom of your teeth, i think you should go see your orthodontist, but don't worry too much, it could still just be food or something. Oh, ask your parents or someone first...they might be able to help a little more than i can because they would be able to see it. hope i helped...
