I just got braces a week ago and after I came home, I noticed these tiny tiny black spots on my teeth...I tried brushing it off, but they won't come off...Now it's a week later and they're still here..It's not really noticeable unless you look closely but I notice them. well i had braces twice, and those black spots might be plaque. if you show your mom, and she takes you to the dentest, they can probably help you out more than anybody else on advicenators. sorry i couldnt help much, but out of all of the 4 years i have had mine, i never had black spots. they can even be cavities, or something from the material of the braces. sorry! good luck.

ok look im a 13 year old girl. last year i was best friends with this guy. now this year we dont even talk at all. its like we never were friends. we had a lot of fun when we were together. i kind of liked him but i didnt want to do anything about it. now this year as a look back at last year im kind-of crushing on him again. i doubt he likes me back so im confused. do i tell him how i feel or what? x0x0

i think that calling him up and telling him how you feel would be a good idea. the reason i say you should call is because it would be better to tell on the phone, or in person.. and since you dont talk alot, i think calling would be less scary. additionally, i think that if you told him how you felt, he might think the same way, or he might want to be your friend again. start hanging out more often, and maybe that might make a wee bit of a change. i hope my advice works, and thanks for asking! xox

I'm having trouble finding the answer to this problem. Maybe I don't ask it right, see if any of you can help me out.
I am thinking of buying a new camera. I currently have a pentax which I love but it has seen better days.
I'd like to try a digital one but here's the thing no one has yet been able to answer for me.
I do not like the point and shoot, auto focus stuff. I want a set your own f-stop, focus.... manual type camera. I like my pic's to be my own creations know what I mean? Does anyone know if they make something like that in digital cameras?
I think the problem lies in the fact that I don't really know what the official name for the kind of camera I'm wanting is. I'm in process of packing for a move and all my stuff is currently unavailable to me.So, if anyone knows at least that much it would be a help in my search.

Well maybe if you try to go to either Circut City, or Best Buy, and ask one of the employee's there, maybe they can help you. But unless someone that has one of these works at a place like that, nobody can really give you the correct answer. So go online and do a good search, or just go to the store and ask. sorry but that is all i no. good luck with that!

Well, i know a girl kind of in the same situation. She kind of likes this kid, and she has a boyfriend. But she thinks that if she breaks up with him now, and goes out with the other kid, the rest of the year might be bad for her bf. Additionally, she doesnt even know if the other kid likes her. So like her, if you stay with this kid and maybe talk to him more, and get to know him better, there might be a change in liking the other guy bc you might love your boyfriend so much. So unless your relationship goes way down hill, it might be a good idea to stay with him for a while. sorry, but that's all i could think of. good luck, and make the right choice! xoxo

My boyfriend and I have been together for two and half years, and we are both eighteen. We are both very different from one another. I'm asian, I grew up with strict parents, I don't party much, or go out much. I like to do things around the house to keep me busy, like reading and writing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not boring and I know how to have fun, and I'm allowed to do anything that I want. Whenever I do go out, I'm pretty much the life of the party. Him, on the other hand, he is black, his parents were never really strict on him growing up.. he parties a lot and likes to go out all the time. He gets mad, or annoyed at me because I'm not the type to party and go all out. I get mad and annoyed at him when he parties too much. We both love each other, but it seems like that is what we mostly argue about nowadays. I'm not going to change my ways to satisfy him, and he isn't going to either. We talk about it, but even still, nothings going to change. How can I go about if an argument starts again? It just annoys me when he says to me that I don't know how to have fun, or that I'm boring. We both just have different definitions on the word fun. Any advice will be nice. Thanks.

Well, if you both really love eachother, how about you try eachother's ways of life sometimes. like one night go and party for him, and one night ask him if you guys can have dinner or something together and just talk it out. Also, it is very hard if your VERY different, but dont get me wrong, different can be the best of things sometimes, but i think your idea of different is way easier than some other ways. I think if you sit down together and disgus it, it might go well if you agree to do both ways or you lives. sorry if you dont like my advice, but i definetly tried. GOOD LUCK with him! xoxo

alright.. so i have this friend right.. and she asked me to ask you this.. so here it goes..
she has this friend who shes known for like a while now.. and like ever since a few weeks ago her friend hasn't been the same aroung her, and every time she asks her if they are still as good as friends, her friend always replies by saying "of course dont worry about it" but when other people ask her she says something like "it isnt the same.. i can have more than one good friend" or something along those lines. she has tried talking to her numerous amounts of times.. but it doesnt seem to be working. what should she do?

maybe if your friend had someone close to her talk to her good friend. or maybe if you had gotten your friend and her friend together for lunch or dinner or something. well, it kind of depends how old they are, but if those options dont help, i am very sorry and tell your friend that i tried my best. tell her good luck and make a good choice that SHE thinks is best. laterr

a few years ago, me and my current friends were friends with a group of 4 or 5 girls. after awhile my friends and the other girls drifted apart. i want to try be friends with them again, but i dont think it will happen and i dont want to seem desperate or anything, how do you think i should go about trying to be friends with them again? maybe if you called all of them and asked them to join you for lunch somewhere, and just told them where and what time, you can meet all of them there and make other plans to get together again sometime else. im sorry i couldnt help much with this situation, but i hope what i could do helps you out a little. good luck!

I'm taking up BS Nursing right now, on my 2nd year...But my dreams of becoming a dermatologist is getting bigger than my dreams of being a nurse..So, how do I get there? should I finish nursing first? shift to a more relevant course? (link)

Well, too bad i dont know what a dermatologist is, because i am only 13 years old, but i think i can try. (sorry)Maybe if you stick with nursing for a little while, and then when you have a day off, or like during the night or something, maybe you can go online and look up more about it. And so when you get that job, you can stick with nursing until the day before you start your new job, quit your nursing job. And i am sorry about that you have to get the BS. sorry i couldnt help a bunch, but maybe you might take some of my advice. good luck

I have very pale, sensitive skin and I burn easily. I have never properly tanned in my life and this year I want to get a tan. I have to use a high SPF sunblock or I will burn. What is the best way to go about getting a natural tan with my skin type? I don't want to use sunbeds or fake tan. (link)

maybe you should try putting on a high number SPF. and if you want to go swimming afterword, wait 5 to 10 minutes until it really gets in there. So then while you are waiting, you can try getting a tan there. Also, in the water your sunblock will come RIGHT off unless you use waterproof. In addition to that, the water is a great deal on most people's tans and burns becuase of the sun reflection. well, i hope you use my advice wisely, and i am also sorry if it isnt going to work out. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! ((its very dangerous if you are burnt badly, so be very careful!))
