I have to make some kind of food for this international festival at school, our country is mexico. I have to bring something that will feed a lot of people and all the basics are already taken. Chips and salsa and cheese dip and quesadillas and rice and tacos are already taken. I need something thats big and easy. Any ideas would be very helpful, thanks!
I rate 5!
LoveMeForMe1020 answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 12:18 pm: you might want to look at google. type in something like 'mexican recipes' when i started reading i thought of quesadillas but then i read that. does your school have a spanish teacher? you might want to ask him/her for any ideas. hope you have the yummiest treat there! thenormalone answered Monday April 11 2005, 10:50 pm: I am Mexican! A Spanish tortilla is really good. It's basically a big omelette with chunks of potatoes, and whatever else you want to put in it. It's thicker than an omelette though, so you may need to get a recipe off Google. There are a lot of good Mexican food sites out there. If that doesn't work, you can always make guacamole! ChickenQuesidilla142 answered Monday April 11 2005, 8:59 pm: OHHHH! Quesidillas are taken =( Ok- here's what you can make-buy a big bag(s) of frozen chicken or beef, veggie stuf and add tomatoes, cheese, peppers, and everything else you top your food with. It'll be easy, and it will feed a lot of ppl.
PS-You can get the frozen stuff at wholesale places=D

jbdreamer answered Monday April 11 2005, 5:26 pm: Does it have to be food? When I was a girl scout we did Mexico for an international festival, and we sold Mexican paper flowers. And we sold Trolls when we did Sweden. Man, that was a LONG time ago. Otherwise I agree with Chicka*-*, everyone loves churros. [ jbdreamer's advice column | Ask jbdreamer A Question ]
Karen answered Monday April 11 2005, 4:59 pm: A few years back, I did something similar to this and I made taco salad and that was easy and fed a lot of people. You can also do churros, tortillas, burritos, and enchiladas (I think I spelt that wrong). [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
