I rolled over in bed last night & kind of hit my cat... & she wasn't 2 happy so she crached my face all up & the worst 1 is on my nose... & it dosen't hurt, but its really bad & gross looking & all this Neosporin smells bad... & my dad didn't want me 2 go 2 school 2day cos it might get enfected or something might go wrong & its really bad looking... & so whats the best way 2 make it look better as fast as possibul & it dosen't have 2 heal, but just look good? & I'm not gonna try make up, cos I'm a guy

Neosporin is your best bet... maybe you should lower your standards a bit and use make up? I'm a girl and all... but I don't use that crap unless I have a cat scratch or something to that affect. Don't put peroxide on the scratch - even if you're just trying to kill the germs. Peroxide does kill germs, but it also kills live blood cells and skin tissue. This keeps the cut from healing. If you wash the scratch with soap and water several times a day, put Neosporin and a Band-Aid on the worst scratches, they'll get better quickly. I don't reccomend wearing a Band-Aid to school, though. This is why make up is so handy... no one ever has to find out...
To keep the germs out of the scratch, wash it with soap and water several times a day and DONT TOUCH IT REPETEDLY! This is how germs are spread. Always wash your hands before you wash the cut.

selectopaque answered Monday April 11 2005, 11:17 pm: Cat scratches suck ass. Dissinfect it right away with rubbing alcohal. And continue to do so until it starts to look better. All you need to do is dab the rubbing alcohal on with a Q-tip, or cotton ball, and then wash your face with anti-bacterial soap. Just be careful not to get it in your eye.
Seriously, we use alcohal to dissinfect almost EVERYTHING at the cat spay/neuter clinics that I volunteer at. There's always a spray bottle full of it at every table to use on anything that gets dirty from the kitties. [ selectopaque's advice column | Ask selectopaque A Question ]

charmed-cherry21 answered Monday April 11 2005, 4:57 pm: Sorry hun but the only thing that helps it look better is healing it some and the only way to do that really is Neosporin. I understand that neosporin smells bad but would you rather have some bad smell or the scratches? Also since your a guy toughen up you'll make the girls sound tougher then you =)
