southsideboy14 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 11:19 am: I've dealed with this question for the longest i've been on here so i have the perfect advice, if you have a small house say like 2 bedroom thern you should have a minumum of at least 50 people at your party, and then make sure they don't break anything for sure, make sure no one sneaks upstairs trying to have sex or break anything or steal anything unless their going to the bathroom then you follow them. make sure you get a minumum of alcahol also because if they get to drunk and they start breaking stuff and the music isd turned up too high then it's sure enough that the cops will come by. Also make sure that the neighbors are clued in because if your parents come home then the neighbors will snitch about the party, then if you have a 3 bedroom or over you can reach a minumum of 75-100 people tops. K2204 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:55 am: get a huge variety of music and ask some of your freinds to come over early and help, and to help clean up after!!!
icey0990 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:33 am: OK the amount of people you should invite depends on the size of your house and if you want the party to be both indoors and outdoors. A good tip to keep in mind:
-DONT invite the whole school..only inviite your friends. Your friends will be more considerate to your house and might help you clean up after..people who are just there for the party wont care if your house falls down...just as long as it falls down after they leave.
Things to think about is:
-Do i live in a neighborhood with a good amount of neigbors?
If you do, i would make my party smaller with little amounts of alcohol..because big parties get loud, and neighbors will complain, leaving the police to bust your party. If theres no alcohol your ok..but if theres alcohol, you would get in some trouble.
If you live on a country road like me, with few neighbors ..and your house size was decent, you can invite more people and bring more alcohol.
As for music:
Just keep it going. maybe get a friend to make a few mixed CDs, this way you dont have to be changing the Cds constantly. Music volume..louder if there are fewer neighbors..the more neighbors you have, the more careful you have to be.
And then the fun part; cleaning up.
Hopefully you have a few good friends who wouldnt mind staying for an hour to help out with the cleaning. Its going to seem overwhelming, but just take it one room at a time..remember..one beer can you didnt find..will result in your parents finding it..getting you in some major trouble. You have a few days which is pretty awesome..a lot of times people have to clean up by the next day or even that night. So i think you'll be fine.
TIP:
-All your valuables, lamps, breakables, china, etc. put them in a seperate room, basement, somewhere! You def dont want anything breaking.
Have a blast,,i wish i was lucky like you..man a few days alone? your gooing to have a blast

Erinn_the_bamf answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:07 am: No alcohol. The police will fine you if there are underage drinkers and believe me there will be. The max amount of people should be 30 so it is easier to clean up. For music have a varitey. Nevertheless, be extremely careful. There is no supervision so if something goes wrong someomne could get really hurt. And without an adult being there to help there might be a lawsuit. So be extremely careful and only invite people you can trust. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
NawtyLilSkewlGurl answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:07 am: ok well my parents were gone for a week before and i threw a party soo. i suggest you dont have alchohol at the party becuz you never know your neighbors may stop by at any moment or the cops could come by too. and if you do decide to have alchohol at the party i'd watch out becuz people may get clumsy and break things or they may break things for the hell of it you know? and i wouldnt invite too many people becuz of that reason. as for the music just put in some cd's or turn on the radio and make shurr you have food out in the open for them becuz if they dont have food lying out for them they may end up going through and eating everything in your fridge oh and make shurr you have some drinks and lots of them like soda or sumthing but have different types of soda so people have a choice in the drink. as for cleaning up ask a few ppl to stick around and help you clean some.
stalkingroxy911 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:01 am: if they r going to be gone a couple days then have your party earlyer when they are gone like the 1st or 2nd day so u have the rest of the time to clean up. make sure that there are not any under aged drinkers at your party and if there are dont let them get really drunk the police love breaking up house parties and the owner of the house gets fined if they are under aged people drinking there o and make sure you dont have nosey neighbors [ stalkingroxy911's advice column | Ask stalkingroxy911 A Question ]
mrs_radcliffe answered Sunday April 10 2005, 9:33 am: If your parents are only going waway for a few days i wouldnt surgest alcohol. Invite around 10-20 people not to many just incase something goes wrong and your parents might come home. Music make a few mixed cds of different music like pop,hip hop, rap. For food, have some chips and dip that would be nice, also some sweets, sasauge rolls and some fizzy pop and lemonade.
sunshine1232 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 9:16 am: well if your parents are going to be away for a few days i wouldn't suggest alcohol or beer don't invite to many people maybe like a couple of your good friends to just come over and chill have your friends all help clean up after the party that way everybody will be helping and you will get done faster and everybody is helping instead of one person just cleaning up i wouldn't have to many people because if your parents do decide to call or something they don't hear a whole crowd of people screaming and shouting in the backround.
