Shaving Alternative? I've been looking into several ways to remove hair from my legs and underarms. One of my friends suggested using Depillatory Cream. (Such as Nair, Veet, etc) My question is, does this really work? And is it safe for underarms? What brand or product do you suggest? And how long does the hair stay off?

I would not suggest any of these I have tried them, and for one they smell disgusting and two they kind of burn and three they can leave nasty itchy red spots or rashes. And they dont always get all the hair.

i suggest shaving with a razer, its the easiest ]
yepp it works. i suggest veet, it stays away for 4 days? but the only down side is that is smells! so i would do it .. and then i would wash your body with some good smelling soap!
hope i helped ]
Yes it does work, My friend uses it. Some times it can irrated underarms but i surgest just using a razor for your underarms. Veet is a good one usually the cheap ones dont work as well as the expensive ones. Find the best price of them. It stays of 2-3 weeks But in that time you can see little hairs appearing but there not noticable at all.

I've used nair with good results. Even though I think it stinks! Smells like a perm! But, it does last longer than shaving. For me anyway.:) ]
i don't know, but I'll guess that it would be bad to mix your depillatory cream up with your shampoo.... hmm...

Well it probablly will work but Nair kind of burns. Make sure you arent allergic to it and if you get something good hair wont grow for about a week. x0 ]
ok i have never used nair or anything like that on my underarms but let me tell you one thing...nair burned my legs like crazy when i used it for the first time! and since then i dont use it anymore!

I have a question for you, Why don't you just use a razor? But ok, it is ok for underarms and it works! i use Veet under my arms all the time and i never had any problems! ]
I've used Nair several times before. The hair on my legs stayed off for almost a week and a half. It wus great not having to shave, but the smell wus unpleasent! Be sure to check the packaging just to make sure its safe for underarms! ]
Using depillatory cream will definitely work to remove hair from your legs and underarms. Nair and Veet are both great to remove hair from your legs and your legs stay hair free for about a week. There is a product that used to be on TV comercials and it's called Epil Stop and Spray or something like that and it had this deoderant type thing and when you rolled it under your armpits, it would remove the hair. The hair will grow back in less than a week. All of these products work and I suggest that you use them. ]
Okay well its okay to use but it kinda burns.. and irratates the skin a little bit.. or maybe thats jus me i dont know.. but um it does remove the hair..it stays away a lil bit longer then shaving your hair but not much longer.. i would suggest waxing or shaving instead or that.. and my sister used it on her underarms and it made her underarm red for a real long time and she got a whole bunch of bumps.. but i think it works differently on people.. maybe try it once and see how you like it.. much luv dez x0x0 ]
Creams and hair romoval stuff doesnt work very well. I asume you are looking for a faster way to get rid of hair, instead of wasting time shaving. Well, just use lotion after you shave, it keeps your legs smoother for alonger time. Shaving is the best way, there isnt really any other alternative that works well. Ive tried. Sorry.
