Making fun of the teacher

Question Posted Thursday April 7 2005, 9:46 pm

My friend and I were making fun of our French teacher in class yesterday. Well, we didn't notice but our teacher was walking by and she kind of stopped for a second. We only thought she heard us but, today she was being extreamly mean to us. And just us. So know we know she heard us. My friend doesn't care that she heard becasue she hates her but I do. I feel really bad about all of it. I don't blame her for being mean and I don't know what to do. Should I just drop it?

Apologise to your teacher.Suck up.In languages your grade is in the teachers hands because there are long aswers, composition, ect.so study hard.give
her a card on teachers day & xmas ect.forget
you made fun of her but only ater you apologised
but that does not mean you have to stop sucking up.

I think you should apologize to your teacher. You can't force your friend to do the same, though, if she doesn't want to. What matters is that you want to.

Or, if you don't really want to confront your teacher, you should try to improve your behavior in her class... Or you can write her a note. Be sincere..

If she won't forgive you, then that's her wrong, not yours. You did your part, and if she doesn't accept it, at least you have a clear conscience and can sleep better at night.

You should drop it. If the teacher heard you then she wouldn't be being mean but she would take it like a grown woman and get over the fact that high schoolers make fun of her. Trust me this teacher has something else wrong with her but it's not that you make fun of her and she caught you.

Honestly, I think you should take responsibility for your actions and apologize to your teacher. And next time your making fun of your teacher, make sure no ones around. And, make sure your not in the teacher's classroom.

No, I think you should go and apologise to her.You hurt her feelings.
She would probably think very highly of you if you did. :)

You should be glad she didn't report your ass to le office. Your friend should care;your teacher controls the grades. Don't say anything to the teacher. Just watch your teenage ass next time.

I wouldnt. As much as we all like to make fun of teachers (i do it too i wont lie) they have feelings too and it really must have hurt her feelings. I would go up to her and say your sorry . It will show character and make your teacher feel a lot better. yes its awkward..but its the "adult" thing to do..if your friend doesnt feel the same way, thats up to her, but your your own person..and thats somethng i would consider doing.

That happened to my class like a year or two ago. My advisor was made fun of by almost my whole class and she heard a lot of it. When our class had an end of the year party, she didn't even come because she was so upset at us. She was all mad and crying. I felt bad even though I only listened to people make fun of her, so some of my classmates and I went to talk to her. We apologized and she came to the party and everyone apologized. Apologizing is the best thing.
