I'm 13 and in my undies I find this sorta wet gooey sticky white stuff. I haven't had my first period yet. I feel this gross wetness going into my undies during the day, and i think i'm maybe getting my period. But when i go to the bathroom, its the same wet whitish stuff. What is this stuff and does it mean anything? why do i get it? help!

ok... this is just discharge.. it doesn't always mean you are getting your period. you might want to use pads if it gets really heavy though. sometimes if you get it.. you get your period... but sometimes... it just means you're maturing. don't worry... every girl gets it... and it's perfectly normal.

itz called discharge. discharge cleans out your vagina. itz totally normal and every girl gets it. itz a good thing to have discharge because if down there stayed dry then you would proabably get an infection. you can use a pantyliner to stay clean and keep ure undies dry. here ya go:[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

what the white gooey stuff is, is just called a discharge.you are probably going to get your period soon! you should carry around a pad with you just in case and if the discharges are a problem you can buy panty liners (but they are NOT pads. dont use them as pads because they wont work lol.).

It's called discharge. All girls get it. Usually it means that you are going to get your period soon. But not always. It is perfectly normal. If you wear a pantiliner it helps keep the discharge off of you underwear.

You're at the age when your body thinks that you're going to need vaginal lubrication because it thinks you're ready for sex. Basically. You will discharge the most, actually, before you're monthly period because it is high ferility time. I know it sucks but your estrogen really wants you to get knocked up. It will also come when you're horny.
Usually you'll get your first period anywhere from a month to a half a year at the most after this discharge begins.

That white sticky stuff is discharge and your body cleans itself by discharging. It's normal and healthy to have discharge and many girls have it. If at one point your discharge becomes heavy, that's a sign that your period is coming. If you don't want the discharge to go all over your underwear and leak, then just a wear a panty liner and change it at school if you must. You'll get your period eventually, don't worry.
