I have a friend.. lets call her... loogie. Well loogie and I have been best friends for 3 years. I love her to death! (as a friend.. duh) but she is just kinda annoying!! I mean my friend and me had plans to go to the movies. Well the night before I asked loogie to spend the night. I called the person I was going to the movies with to make sure it was still happening or whatever.. MY FRIEND GOT SO MAD AT ME!! because she wasnt invited. I mean I cant spend all my time with her! Shes not my ONLY friend!! What do I do to tell her I have other friends and she doesnt have a hold on me?

this sounds very annoying! but i think that you should tell her that sometimes you need some space away from her. i mean it isnt fair to have other friends and keep them on hold. she'll understand if she is a true friend. good luck!

tell her that. you have other friends and you cant spend all your time with her. i had the same problem and it worked. my friend understoood that she wasnt my only friend and i need to hang out with them not just her.

She's just a little jelous, just tell her that she's not your only friend, and that you have other friends too. Talk it out with her.

I would be straight up with her and not lie.Just tell her something like we dont have to be with each other 24/7 you know girl your not my only friend..and remind her your not trying to be rude or anything.that way she dosnt get even more mad at you then before or something because you didnt invite her.hope i helped!!

Just be straight forward, but don't be defensive. Tell her you weren't purposely trying to leave her out, and you don't think less as her as a friend. You just have other friends you like to spend time with as well. Explaine that you wanted some one on one time with that person.

i have a friend exactly like 'loogie'. she always does that. but, you just gotta tell her exactly what you just said. just tell her that "i love ya to death, but i have other friends that i like to see sometimes, too." i think it would help if you invited her AND one of your other friends to do somethin together. just remember that you're a good friend who cares about her!
