Okay my friends b-day is coming up and i want to give her a mix CD well I duno how to get the music. I know how to make the cd and everything. but is there any sites where i can get the music to put on the site?? thanks so much i rate high

Illegally downloading the music would be the best way to go. If done in small quantities, the RIAA wont pay any attention (they only go after "hubs," people who download and upload thousands of songs). Also, it doesnt hurt the band like they say because bands rarely ever see a profit from their record sales.
There are several applications you can use, like kazaa lite (dont use real kazaa) or limewire. Google them.
On compensating bands, if their whole album is worth it then buy the album. Never download a whole album, or more than 5 songs from one. Thats just not cool.
If you really want to support a band, call your radio station to get them played on the air or go see their show.

winMX is really good, there's no advertisements with it or anything and it's pretty easy to understand. By the way, you don't get the music from the site it's self you have to download the software obviously (like with Kazzaa, iMesh, e-Mule etc..)

Just choose a site. The songs play in WMP. Or you could download Limewire.

If you mean gettin music off of the website try using Music Planet,Gluz,Winmx,Piolet, or just go to download.com cause tehy give you a list of some websites that you can download music...
