my bedroom!
i want to decorate my bedroom for my sweet sixteen! i am up for any ideas but i have to stay cheap. can any one give me ideas or good websites?

Well if you like contemarary go for maybe somthing beach like or even somthing with alot of shape like striped fabric and stuff like that. What's also kool is maybe even somthing japaniesy or somthing matalic and bright.
Or if you're going for country or somthing more nutral you can try something with wicker furinture. Even somthing flowewry would work.

hit it up on the picture frames, posters of singers w/e you like, put up shelves and put things on the shelf that are like you things you like w/e.. if your into sports have a sports type room or maybe get like one thing which i have 3 pillows and make the room go off the pillows piant the walls like that do what ever it takes to make your room like your personality! have fun with it its your thing!~

keeping stuff cheap is easy! first of all get a colour of paint that u really like this wil make u feel good and make a feature of one of your walls by painting a picture on it, this can be completely personal to you. As for funiture paint up your old stuff cheap as and no1 else will have it. happy decoratin!

Not sure how exactly you should decorate it, but I have advice on the color you chose for the walls. Shouldn't do red, starin at that would make you mad. Black is too dark...Grey would put you in the same mood as black...not really a good one. I'd suggest maybe a yellow, or baby blue, or a lilac purple...or this is what I wanna do with mine, take blue, purple, and silver, and do a sort of sponge thing to the wall. Or maybe with red, yellow, and pink...It takes alot of work, but it looks so awesome afterwards! Hope this helps! Have fun!! Much Love!

OH MY GOD! This is the DREAM Advice-needing thing I've ever read!!! I love you man! Okay, here are few of my AWESOME ideas for your room...
1) Pick a color. Any color. And get all your shirt of that color, and pin it to your wall. All of it, or at least until it covers one side of your wall, or your whole room. This is VERY awesome. It takes a while, but it looks cool in the end, if you do it right
2) Cover every inch of your wall with Posters, news clippings, photos, anything. Be creative.
3) get those Glow-in-the-dark paint, and go insane. Be Creative.
Yea, I have a lot more, but I don't want to share you the ultimate one. But here's a clue. It has to do with Glue, sparkly stuff, and strings!!!

pbteen IS awesome, but it's also not cheap. However, I'd agree that it's a great starting point for ideas... ideas that you can create by buying stuff at target/walmart/other and recycling what you have.
A new coat of paint and a fresh bedspread are great ways to give your room a fresh look and clean start.
Get crafty! Do you like flowers? Buy silk ones and glue to lampshades, curtain rings, etc. Like furry fun stuff? Buy yards of faux fur in bright colors and glue around wastepaper baskets, mirrors.
Make a collage out of magazine pictures and put them in simple frames. Make your own art- invite some friends over, give them paint (or markers and crayons- it's up to you) and some large pieces of paper- let them create masterpieces for you!
Google is your friend for finding more ideas. Or go to your local library and look through magazines.

Do you want to like re-do your room? You can paint your room a cute neon color and put lil rugs ont he floor, put a lot of pictures of you and your friends up. I wouldnt put any posters up because thats kinda of old but thats up to you if you like it. x0

Just put up a lot of posters and pictures and things that remind you of a good time. Maybe it your own. Throw pillows, lamps, picture frames stuff like that.
