Being gothic is not that simple. The Gothic lifestyle is just a subculture in today's society, and you should not stereotype all goths together. "Goths" are NOT satanic--they do NOT worship the devil; being Gothic is not a religious life--to say so without knowing is ignorant. I have No idea where people came up with that one, but it's not true. SOME Gothic people are also WICCAN, which is a religion, but A does not always equal B. You can be Wiccan and not gothic, and you can be gothic and not wiccan.
Wiccans do not worship the devil, either. That's just a filthy lie told by those who are ignorant.
So long answer short: No, it does not mean someone is gothic if they were all black and dye their hair the same color.

no, a gothic person is someone that is also satanic.. we peoples that wear black hate it when people can't differenciate between like individualist, punk.. someone that likes music? I mean, hey, some of us like black.. *shrug* don't call someone a goth if you only take one look at them and think you can call them that, you might want to try talking to them.. because that's the only way you'll figure it out.. unless you see them carrying like a satanist book.. o_0

Being a goth doesnt mean you just wear all black and dye your hair black. This just a stereotype and although typicala of some goths this is not true for all. I am sometimes considered a goth but I never wear all black. In my opinion being a goth is just about being different and being happy with it. For some goths the way they dress is a reflection on the way they are feeling, not the person they are. ihope this has helped you.

There is a difference between someone being a true goth and someone being gothic. If someone is gothic then they will probably wear dark colours and may dye their hair. A true goth is part of a religion. I don't know anything about the actual religion but you could research it if you are interested.
