Yes, it's very normal to get bumps and to bleed sometimes. No, I'm afraid that there is noting you can to about the little bumps. One thing, just DO NOT put lotion on it after you shave because it can irritate your skin!!! :) hope I helped!!

Yes, it's normal for you to get bumps and to bleed. To make this stop, you need to shave with a good razor and with shaving cream and water. Shave slowly in the direction that your hair grows or towards your head and you won't get these bumps. Usually, if you just started to shave your pubic hair, you'll get bumps but it will go away, once you get used to shaving. When you are done shaving, put some lotion on it and will help you not to bleed and get those bumps.

Don't be embarassed!..it is probably just razor burn..the next time you shave just use a lot of shaving cream and a sharp razor

Sounds like razor burn! If your skin is irritated to the point of bleeding, stop. Try not to shave down there as often and always use a shaving cream with plenty of lather.

Cheers!

It is normal, maybe you should try waxing or changing to a different razor.

Its just shaving bumps and well yea... its from the shaver you use. Maybe go to more of a gentler one that cuts good enough but wont make you bleed or give you red bumps. I use Gilette Venus Devine and it works really good. I don't bleed anymore and never get those red bumps, and well it works really good lol.

Yes, its very normal, its just cuts, and I think you need to wait way longer than 2 days to shave again, because, it needs to grow back for a while, shaving it while its got only a little hair HIGHLY increases the chances of more cuts, (red dots.) And, preventing them would be by always using shaving cream, and not soap, and shaving carefully, very carefully. Its a girl problem, trust me, embarresing questions are ok to ask, more than ok, in fact, if its too overwhelmig, you can ask me in my inbox, and I won't ask who you are, I'll just answer you.

Altazuma answered Friday March 11 2005, 12:41 am:
A little advice one of my gf's got from a woman that does brazilian waxing as part of her job:

It is normal to get some irritation from shaving. The first thing most women do is put moisturiser on it. In fact, this is about the worst thing you can do. It actually raises the rash from shaving even more. You are better putting on another type of gel. She suggested a manuka and honey medicated gel ( and she wasn't selling it so don't think the advice was clouded by a commission on the sale of it). Not sure if you would get that in the US though. But try ringing around local shops that provide waxing for bikini lines etc and see what they suggest.

Put some powder on the bumps. They have a medicated one that burns a little but will heal the bumps pretty fast.Wait until they heal a little before you shave again.Be sure to use a good shaving lotion too. It sounds like razor burn.It is bleeding because you're shaving off the bumps! It's a normal thing, nothing to worry about.Use lots of the shaving lotion okay? And use a new razor too. That will hopefully keep it from happening to often. And don't be embarrassed you won't know unless you ask!

l0l dont be embarassed about it! It is normal expesilly if you dont do it so often and if you just started. After a lil while it wont hurt. Its fine if it bleeds just be careful tho. The lil red bumps are also normal. Try using a better shaving cream and a better razor and also warm water! x0
