Question Posted Monday February 21 2005, 7:23 pm

14/F. Next time my dad goes to the movie store I get to pick a few movies. I prefer scary movies rated pg-13 or R. Movies I like were Saw and the Ring. I personally thought the Grudge was stupid. Any ideas? (I will take suggestions other then scary movies if they are good)

Hi, I also thought The Grudge was extremely stupid and not scary at all. The most scariest, realistic movie I have ever seen is Joy Ride! And any movie with werewolves also scares me, like Cursed, it just came out yesterday, it's really scary, I jumped out my seat a few times. :P Another really scary movie is Wrong Turn. And a super-good movie that isn't scary is Homeroom...best movie ever!
-Hope I helped!-

Try flims such as Cabin Fever, Road Kill or the Chainsawmassicar. Cabin Fever and the chain saw massicarr was really grusome but good film to watch.

Secret Window with Jonny Depp (hot :p) and John Teturro (sp?) it's fairly spooky. its based on the novella Secret window, Secret garden by Stephen King. i thought it was a really good, quite scary film. but not like saw or the ring at all.

I think you should go ahead and watch Boogeyman because that looks pretty good. They're having a new movie coming out soon I think its called "The Curse" and that looks pretty cool, too. Hey reply to me and tell me what the movie "Saw" was like, cause muh mom and I might get it at Blockbuster and I was wondering if you could tell me what you personally thought of it.

Yes, "The Grudge" did suck, not scary at all. For me, one of the scariest movies I have seen is "Candyman". A good orginal gruesome triller is "Cube," it's an independant film to warn you. Most recently I have enjoyed "Jeepers Creepers," but not the sequal. Have you ever seen "Arachnaphobia"? That's kinda creepy, yet funny. And any "Nightmare on Elm Street", that's always good for a laugh.

Yea, The Grudge was really stupid! But anyway, have you seen white noise or lost? Those are supposed to be good. Good Luck!

If you want a really freaky/scary movie, rent the Exorcist. I believe it's rated R for disturbing images and nudity. It's a REALLY freaky movie though. I do advise you not to see Boogeyman because it's an extremely STUPID movie. If you have any additional questions feel free to email me. <3 Sporkster

I suggest that you either rent one of the many Chuckie movies or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Scary Movies are good too, but they are old and you have probably seen them.
