Punctationless
i'm 13 and haven't had a period yet. i know that's normal, but most of my friends have had theirs, and htey give me a hard time about it. first they'll say i'm not a woman, then they'll say i'm lucky! it gets annoying. what do i do?

It's totally normal, and you ARE lucky!! Tell them that it bugs you & if they don't stop, just ignore it .. & enjoy being punctuationless while you can!! =)

you said it yourself--its normal not to have your period at age 13..well i got mine when i was 11 but still its normal not to have it...dont listen to them...when you become a woman you can laugh in their face!! ..but you are lucky that you dont have it--its stressful for me!! just dont listen to them at all..hope i helped x3

It is very normal. In a way you are lucky though. Every girl cant wait to get it because they'll be a lady, but when they get it, they wish they never had. It will come eventually just give it time and have fun now without it.

Yes thats normal no one is the same and start the period when there really younger and some when there older if you feel lucky or not lucky its just something you have to wait for to happen

Being a woman has nothing to do with if you have your period or not- no offence to your friends, but you seem to be more of a woman than they are- far more mature. In conversation, try to steer clear of period talk. Soon enough you will get your period but believe me- its nothing to look forward to.
Next time periods are mentioned, show off in a joking way that you are lucky, but don't go overboard. This will shut them up, knowing that you don't mind not having a period.

Tell them that they are acting childish. Just because you dont have to go through hell yet doesnt mean you should be made fun of. Tell them that you are more of a woman then them becauswe you're not imature

I remember when getting your period was like the most amazing thing in the world to begin with and its what everyone was talkin about. But you are lucky, once you get it you dont want it anymore, trust me. live it up while you can and just be thankful. and for your friends saying you arent a woman? thats beyond reasonably dumb, you guys are only 13, whether you have your period or not it doesnt classify you as a woman. I'm 15 and I wouldnt even classify myself as a woman, having your period doesnt make you a woman, it just means you hit puberty and your a teenager. And just ask them to stop and tell them that you are the lucky one and it sucks for them that they have it

Just tell your friends it's not your fault that you haven't gotten your period yet. Tell them that every girl is different and that they get it at different times. You will get yours eventually, don't worry. And you are lucky for not having it yet because it's a pain when you are on your period, trust me. Just talk to your friends and tell them to stop giving you a hard time just because you haven't gotten your period yet. Hope I helped :)
