There are lots of different types of medication that you can take although it may be healthier to seek the advice of an expert who will hopefully be able to the bottom of why you are anxious and worried all the time and solve the real problem instead of masking it with drugs.

I would advise you to see your doctor!

there are lots of pills...but take it from a person who is on them... you dont want to be. talk to your doctor and ask him of ways to manage stress and all your worries w/o drugs. Pills are not always the easy way out and in some case can make things worse. You need to wait till, like me, it becomes a last resort.

ArmyMedic answered Sunday February 13 2005, 10:35 pm:
hydroxyzine!!! its safe and works for me. take it from me, i actually know. in the mean time, buy a pack of triple c's (cloricedin cold and cough) and take about 4-6 of em. see you in the sky buddy!

Hydroxyzine depresses activity in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), which causes relaxation and relief from anxiety. Therefore, hydroxyzine is used to treat anxiety disorders and tension in stressful situations--before surgery, for example.

Hydroxyzine may also increase the effects of other medicines, such as pain relievers and sedatives, so it is useful after surgery also.

Hydroxyzine is also an antihistamine. It blocks the effects of the naturally occurring chemical histamine in your body. This makes hydroxyzine useful for treating allergic conditions, especially those that involve the skin, such as hives, itching, and rashes.

Hydroxyzine may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

Yes it`s a pill perscribed by a doctor, i`m not sure of what the name is but it`s specifically for anxiety problems. Talk to your doctor and he/she should give you all the info on that.
