friends
well, i'm into the whole punk-rock scean. the real stuff (anti-flag, bouncing souls ect.) but anyway my friends aren't they think they are so cool because they listen to Jessica Simpson. So i've kinda grown away from my chick friends and started hanging out with guys but i need some chick friends around to help with the boy troubles and what not. But i can't have a conversation with them without them either getting mad at me or judging me. it really pisses me off.

talk to them about it. you can be friends with them and still like different things right? if they were real friends they would like accept that ur just a little different? no biggie:-)

Why exactly can't you be friends with your other girlfriend just because they listen to Jessica Simpson?
I cannot stand that type of music, but my best friend/roommate even has the balls to listen to the horrifying Ashlee Simpson in my presense. It doesn't mean we can't be friends, or we can't help each other with guys and other girly topics. We can even go shopping together.
I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but it sounds to me like you are the one who thinks your too cool for your Jessica Simpson loving girlfriends. You have to stop thinking that just because your into the "whole punk-rock scene" you can't be friends with others who don't share your same love for that one part of your life.
Your putting too much priority on labels, and not enough priority on the good friendships that your missing by not having a more diverse world around you.

in my opinion, anyone who doesnt accept you for yourself isnt worth it. so i'd find some new friends that are into the same things you are or w/e and just forget about the other ones.. if they were true friends they wouldnt care about what you listened to or how you dressed.

I'd rather hangout with guys, their a lot funner. If the girls don't take you for who you are, they aren't worth being your friend at all. And if you ever need to talk about any girl things, I'm here for you! Just IM me.

I understand what you mean. I'm supposedly "punk" or "ghetto" or whatever, and a few of my friends are ha, supposedly "rednecks" <<-THEY WISH! *cough, cough* Anwyays...if you're friends think they're too cool for you just because they're following the in crowd, then from experience I am telling you they are total LOSERS! You can still hang out with them...just try to ignore their dumb comments. Also, you might want to make some new friends with chicks who are into the same stuff as you. They can probably relate.
