Blonde highlights

Question Posted Tuesday January 25 2005, 8:04 pm

Hey I have dark brown hair and I was wondering if I should put blonde highlights in them? I have done it before for like 2 years and then I stopped for some reason. I was wondering if blonde highlights are still in or should I leave my hair dark brown. Oh and I'm kinda sick of blonde so what other colors can I put in my hair. I have a pic on my column its xo_sherry_ox :)

Blonde is still in but another great color is dark red/alburn. It looks great and more grown up than the blonde.

Hi auborn is a nice color- or also a deep cramel. I wudnt go for blonde unless its a dirty blonde if you have a dark brown- or a medium blonde if you have a light brown hair.
Your hairdresser can also help you pick 1 that looks gud on u personaly

gud luck!

Hmm..i think its up to you. I think it might look a little un natural if you do bright blonde heighlights on dark brown hair. Maybe you can do natural light brownish highlights or highlights a shade or two darker than your natural hair color..I think either of those options would look good. then again you only live once so why not try the blonde and if you do't like it u can always dye it back.

I would go with a reddish brown color for highlights.. that would be really cute. When I had my hair highlighted they matched my hair color and then went about 4 shades lighter. Maybe they should do that with you too. But blonde is getting kind of old, especially at my school.. I would definitely go with the reddish color though for your hair! you're so pretty too! : )

Hope I helped!

Your so pretty already! I personally think you should leave your hair the way it is. Natural hair is deffently the prettiest, I mean, that is the way you were made right? If you really want to get it dyed then I'd say dye it darker, thats the new "in" color for people to dye their hair, or you could put red and blondish highlights. That would also look really good!

Blonde highlights would look really cute. Blonde highlights are kind of getting old, maybe you could try something new so you won't be like everyone. Maybe put some copperish highlights or a lighter brown.
